“I don’t believe him (Margarito),” Pacquiao said. “Of course he knows about that (illegal hand-wraps). Its his hands and he watches the taping.”

Pacquiao believes Margarito denied he knew about the hand-wraps because he was “looking for a way out so his reputation won’t be damaged among his fans.”

However, Pacquiao noted that Margarito had “paid his dues by sacrificing and not fighting for one year.

“I hope he learned his lesson and will not repeat the same mistake.”

Yeah, it was only the battering of cotto and the potential battering of mosley... no big deal... year of having to only fight outside the USA is fine!

Let Pacquiao run his mouth.....by the time the Margarito fight is over, he may wish Margarito would have been permanently banned from the sport.

One thing is for certain.....if Margarito beats on Pacquiao like a drum, this crap about Margarito having loaded for other fights should stop!

This is one of those rare fights where I'll be happy regardless of who wins.

I believe that if Pac is as aggressive as he was vs Cotto, its certainly possible for Margarito to stop him on accumulation........

Pac's entitled to his opinion, dont get me wrong......but the thing I did'nt like about it is that he gave an uneducated one......
He said that Margarito is washing Capetillo wrap his hand, that he knew........does Pacquiao know that the knucklepads in question were pre-made, and that neither Margarito, Richardson, or the inspector witnessed Capetillo making that knucklepad.

There was an illegal knucklepad placed on Margarito's hands, but what was illegal about it was inside the knucklepad....you could not see it unless you unfolded the knucklepad and saw the insert.
Richardson discovered it because he asked to feel it and then opened it.
If Pacquiao has an opinion about guilt, he should elaborate on that fact.

Or you can just take what he said and move on. I think all too often, us fans have unrealistic expectations and too often make mountains out of molehills on what a boxer says. They're pugilists, not professors (Azumah Nelson exluded :D)

I am a PAC fan , but i think he is wrong with that notion ... If it was proven that margarito had knowledge of the wraps ... He should have been banned for life.

My 2cents, While it is hard to believe, that Marg didnt know. The fact of the matter is, no one knows if he really knew or not.

Pac says that Marg knew...I wouldnt expect someone who has been accused of wrong doing to turn around and blame someone else for wrong doing.

Not defending Marg but keeping it real...BTW... How easy is it for a pro fighter to Zone out, focusing on the fight while getting his hands wrapped?

I think that's a fair assessment, after all it's not what you know but what you can prove. So far Marg has only been caught trying to cheat and he was punished for that. We can only speculate whether he was loaded in his other fights. Do I think he should of suffered a stiffer penalty for the crime, sure I do. But after punishment is rendered and served he should be allowed to get on with his life.
