The RTL money was in the pot. You know, the one they'd share 50/50? That is what 50/50 means, you put everything in one giant pot, and then share it. Not to mention the fact that Haye in no way even deserves that 50/50.

 

If Klits wanted the fight so bad they would have definitely accepted the 2nd offer.

 

I've seen Booth saying he wants 50/50. I've never heard him saying he has it

 

Wrong. 50% of the total pot. 50% of everything.

 

The issue is that they've been offered way more money to do it with a US network.

Wlad's unwilling to take this, as he wants to be able to go back to RTL afterwards, and carry on picking up his cheques.

Fighting with RTL costs Haye a lot of money.

 

Simple fact is that if Haye ONLY took the UK PPV money and Wlad had the RTL money and Gate receipt money Haye would probably be taking the larger amount because UK revenue is that big for a fight like this. If RTL offer £3m and the Gate Receipts are say £2-3m.... Hatton v Mayweather made over £18m just in UK ppv and this fight would be as big... so Haye and the UK fans would be bringing a huge slice of the finances to this fight... in fact probably a majority and all Haye asked is that Wlad brings a bigger chunk or they keep their own respective countries TV money... i wouldn't say that is a ridiculous demand

Then in this video Haye said he GOT 50/50!

Boxing is a business though, mate.

If Mayweather moved up to middle to fight Martinez, he'd deserve and get upwards of 70% of the money. He isn't a champ there, has never fought there and Martinez is the man. That just doesn't mean anything in boxing though.

Personally, I think the two possible deals were fair. Doesn't RTL offer the most money anyway?

 

Wlad is tied to RTL. Haye should man the **** up and take the 50/50, which is a VERY VERY VERY INSANELY generous offer anyway.

Haye is a diva. I'm sick of his ****.

 

As long as you make the fight with his TV company, and don't take the biggest offer.

Imagine if Floyd was offered $20 million more to fight Pacquiao with HBO than Showtime, and Manny said "no, we have to fight with Showtime, because they keep paying me, after this fight, but you can still have 50/50".

If Wlad's demanding deals with tiny German broadcasters, then he shouldn't be demanding any UK money

 

why cant wlad keep all germany money and haye keep all uk money, and the rest of the territories would be 50/50?

Can someone give me a valid reason why this is not acceptable?

 

You guys seem to have odd opinions on Wlad's value.

Both Showtime and HBO are refusing to even show the Sam Peter bout. Let alone pay for it.
