You all probably knew it anyway but courtesy of the BBC here's an interview with him confirming title fight and the fact that it's two semi-finals and then the final against Dirrell or Ward in a unification fight.

This is great if everything here is true, a clear path now to the potential final at MSG. All on the line, which wasn't the case if it was a stage match, because Froch could have qualified with a loss

In his head he's a destroyer. In reality he's just an awkward ****er to fight. But he's a complete knob a lot of the time.

he is a knob a lot of the time but he's our knob and i hope he wins the super 6. It's his kind of fight now, guts and glory, all on the line.

Cannot wait for this, should be a belter.

Cheers, I didn't know this was confirmed. Common sense prevails (for a change!).

Is this confirmed? Thought there were rumours of Sky tossing the idea around?

That's what I thought too but the news don't surprise me much. When will Froch leave fat Mick? :-(

Probably never. I remember after the Pascal fight, Froch referred to him as the best promoter in the world.

I'm sure Bute will top some people's lists though. :-(
