There's a reason why Hopkins took (or will take) this fight with little hesitation, just like there was a reason why he took the Pavlik fight with little hesitation.

Old man Bernard sees some obvious flaws in Pascal, in which he will definately expose.

12 round UD, with it being similar to the Tarver fight.

That's definately not happening. We all saw how badly gassed he was in the Dawson fight. Too bad for him though, as this is one of the things you need to beat a 46 year old Bernard.

What make you think, after his 2 last fights, that Hopkins has still enough energy and reflexes to win against a young fighter?

Pascal does make errors that even Hops of a few years back would have exploited but now , no chance

by they way what has Hopkins done lately to get this fight ???

He just looked awful. Without HBO, I' wondering how they will do their cash?

Hopkins knows how to beat him, or he wouldn`t agree to fight. But actually i hope Pascal put him into retirement for good, a ko would be damn sweet! Tired of Hopkins cherrypicking and still high rankings!

Pascal is a dangerous fight, he has speed, power and youth. And he has shown an ability to work to good game plans.

Tough fight, not sure how much Hopkins has left.

Definitely backing Pascal, hopkins is looking tired and will struggle against a more rugged and younger version of himself.

Hopkins only chance is to spoil it and fight the entire fight on the inside.

Doubt Pascal will stop him so he will need to sort out his conditioning - definitely backing the younger lad though

I wonder what is really motivating B-hop to take this fight, its not like Jean Pascal is a household name or anything.
I dont think Bernard will have what it takes this time around to pull out another excecutioners performance, his reflexes have gone out and his dirty tactics have been out-used in the RJJ and calzaghe fights. So long as Pascal is breathing in the ring he will be able to outwork Hopkins, but in a boring, stale, gritty affair.

In Montréal this fight could get 12 000 so i guess it's not too bad but HBO look like they will prefer a rematch with Dawson so i guess it will be on showtime!

Pascal is in no way shape or form a younger version of B-Hop. You canadians have lost it.

I'm really surprised Pascal and his people want this fight. Best case scenario - he wins a decision and people say Hop showed against Roy that he was past-it. Chances are, even in victory, Hopkins makes him look bad.

I wouldn't dismiss the chances of Hopkins pulling it off though - and then, just as the division gets a young, entertaining champion, it all falls apart and Hop holds the division hostage for a year while he decides if he wants to fight again.

Not even mildly interested.B-Hop cashing in at the expense of the Montreal fans.
