David Haye Video Update

This basically.....

Haye is the only heavyweight that hbo want to see fight Wlad. Haye is bringing a huge amount of money to the table with the UK money and the HBO money, more than any other fighter Wlad can fight.

 

I agree. That's why Haye deserves 50% of the total pot with no options and that's exactly what was offered. Apparently Haye wasn't interested though.

 

Funny thing is that Haye basically has the problem to get any opponents besides the Klitschko leftovers. I doubt he can make as much money fighting the leftovers as the Klitschkos can make fighting their contenders.

Let´s see what happens to Hayes mandatory Chagaev....

 

So anyways folks, so this was the big story Haye wanted to break? We've discussed the TV money 50/50 deal over 10 weeks ago. All this isn't news.

Remember he vowed to tell us all who the ***** was? Well so who is the *****?

 

Haye wanted Wlad to bring a bigger slice of German TV money to the table or both keep their respective coutries TV money... not a bad deal really... But Wlad knows he will probably end up with half of what Haye earns for the fight should this be the case.

I can see both sides. Haye doesn't want to bring 3/4 of the revenue to the fight and only take 50%. Wlad feels he is the champ so his opponent shouldn't earn more than him... simple fact is though Haye is the money spinner in this fight unless Wlad looks for a better tv deal, maybe a ppv channel in Germany? do Germany have a PPV channel?

 

Wlad, he should keep german money and haye keep uk money, quite simple and fair.

 

no Haye wouldn't make as much fighting the likes of Chagaev but because of his popularity in the UK even with the non hardcore boxing fans wanting to see a British HW Champ fight and all of his fights will now be PPV.He will routinely get over 500,000 buys at £15 a time which is still more than what Wlad makes from his RTL deal

 

The draw would be "Haye vs. Klitschko", not Haye or Klitschko by themselves. I'm sure it matters to the UK crowd who he fights as well, and the fact that it would be a high profile bout is very important. Haye should fight Harrison and see how much he's worth after that. Hope he loses.

Funny thing is even if it is Audrey Haye fights next... he will make more money than Wlad v Peter. Which makes Haye the bigger money earner

 

Haye is on some good glue if he hinks that the PPV sales in the UK are going to be More than the PPV sales in Germany.



A 50/50 contract would without a shadow of doubt earn him more money.

There is no PPV in germany. All Klitschko fights are on free TV.

 

he's not THE champ but he is A champ... which in the UK to the general public means they will pay to watch him.

 

if haye now fights audley instead then all that 'look at the klitsckos padded record and look at my good record' goes completly out the window in my book!

haye needs to fight either adamek, chagaev, tua, solis, povetkin or a valuev rematch next, as he will lose major credability facing anyone else (i.e. harrison)
