I agree.... although the Tua fight wouldn't be very credible after a gift decision against Barrett

 

Im british and Haye doesn't for a start deserve the 50/50 but that is what he is getting. HE IS GETTING 50% PERCENT OF THE GERMAN TV MONEY! But he thinks he can get more money from another network in germany... this is basically an excuse to not take the fight, I think its pretty clear what has been going on now.

 

For ****s sake you ******s, boxing is a business, it's not about who deserves what based on how much you like them or how talented you think they are.

If Haye generates more money then he should get more money. Can someone please tell me why this shouldn't happen, using previous fights as a precedent? If not then **** off.

 

Dude... i've made the exact same point about 5 times but the Hayeters and Klit fans seem oblivious to logic

 

He does deserve 50% because he is bringing more money to the table than Wlad is... a lot more in fact.
He might be getting 50% of the German TV money but that is peanuts compared to the 50% of UK tv money Wlad will get

The bottom line is you can say Haye didn't really want the fight but you can also say the same of Wlad.

Wlad keeps his German TV money, Haye keeps his UK TV money, split the rest, and they fight.

Agreed. But Wlad also said no to Haye's reasonable offer too. It works both ways.

 

And a large portion of that crowd would also be British... mark my words.
I was at the Hatton Mayweather fight in Vegas which is an extra 12 hours on a plane compared to England to Germany and that crowd was mainly Brits. They won't all be Wlad fans paying for tickets to watch that fight.

The HBO only comes if Wlad fights Haye... HBO have said they aren't going anywhere near Wlad unless it's a Haye fight so you could argue it's Haye also bringing the HBO interest so both your point hold no validity
