But essentially it's still Hayes TV deal.

The biggest grocing PPV fights in the UK are Lewis v Tyson and Hatton v Mayweather both fought in the middle of the night in Vegas... British fans don't mind staying up for a fuight of this magnitude.
The money generated from the Thomas & Mack Centre would surpass any stadium in Germany. The casinos would pay a fortune to stage the fight in Vegas because of all the tourism a big fight brings... tourism = money lost in casinos. Also at the big Vegas fights ringside seats are sold to A listers for fees of up to $10000 each

At the end of the day haye said he wasnt happy with the max wlad was getting from germany but i hope this plan doesnt backfire on him in some way and when all said and done he may look back and say yeah ok that was a good deal after all, i should have taken that. Say if wlad gets sparked out, it could have been david doing that

Which network has he spoken to? RTL is the biggest network, all the big boxing fights run there. No network in Germany has ever staged big, huge fights like RTL has.

So what German network could possibly outbid RTL? Haye is full of ****.

how about this david.... when your PPV total comes in (for example 10 million).... the first 10million goes to Wlad... then split the pot 50-50... Haye said NO. He wants to keep his UK PPV cash and is using the Klitschkos RTL contract as an ecuse.. you keep your. ill keep mine... doesnt sound like 50-50

Haye doesnt get what 50-50 is..... its not we put in 50-50 and take out 50-50... you put everything you have, both sides in the pot.. then split it 50-50

Having heard both sides of the story, it is clear that David Haye has done everything possible to make a fight with both Klitschkos and I applaud his honest and extensive endeavours.

Regrettably, the Klitschkos have not shown the same willingness to do the same and as the old saying goes, 'It takes two to tango.'

David Haye first should show that he is "worth" to step in the ring with one of the brothers.

Who is David Haye without the Klitschkos? He should show, he is a Heavyweight Champion.

Beating Valuev on points and an old Ruiz.

Maybe his next opponent is Evander Holyfield.
Haye is a money-*****, nothing else.

And I'd have to disagree. After all the shouting, taunting and shameless stunts he's pulled since entering the heavyweight scene, he's now put himself in a position where he must make the fight. Wlad walking away from Haye, is not as detrimental as Haye walking away from Wlad. As evident with the public's reaction to this whole situation.

Is that why Haye went into hiding ever since Wlad called him out in April (over 4 months ago!) and only resurfaced well after both Vitali and Wlad were forced to sign with other opponents?

suckeggs, you put up a good defence for haye but i hope your right and he does actually want to fight and not make money with easier defences, that is a possibility too as if he loses badly his star could be out and he knows this

hmmm. I was a Haye fan but when the whole klit/haye thing broke i turned away from him. Hearing this though, i can UNDERSTAND why Haye turned it down, and i can understand why the Klits turned it down.

Haye will be bringing the majority of the purse, so he wants Klit to bring more money into the pot. But even if the Klits find another network, how much more are they gonna get? An extra 2 mill? 3 mill? Even in that case His sky Sports ppv money will far exceed that. So in any case, he would always be bringing the majority of the money.

Wlad knows if haye keeps UK ppv and he keeps rtl, he would be making far less. Which we know he wont accept. Fair enough. thats why HE turned it down. But from wlad POV, it seems he would be making far more money from this fight than any of his others, where he gets what £3mill per fight?

To me it just seems as if greed is getting in the way. But as a BOXING FAN, i want both to just STFU and fight already.

Its harder for americans to understand this scenario because in the US, its one network, split 50/50 or 60/40 depending on who the draw is. In this case we have two additional countries bringing money into the pot so its not as simple as saying ''put everything into the pot and split it 50/50''. Coz in this case Haye is bringing far more money to the table.

My guess is that once the klits are free from their rtl contract, they will find another network for this fight and it will take place.

So the conclusion for me is that Haye is Greedy and despite him saying hes not in it for the money, he IS. Which is fair enough i understand that. Every boxer is these days. But he shouldnt have said in the first place hes fighting for legacy not money and not called the Klits out as badly as he did. Its only coz of THIS that hes looking stupid now. But it also seems hes not scared to fight them either. Its purely a money thing.

As for the Klits, their ego wont let them accept the fact that haye would end up with the most money (if haye kept uk ppv). Again, i can understand that. They have been the champions for a while now. To them, haye is the challenger. Sadly, thats not how the game is played now. Its all about the draw and the money.

For me, both should STFU stop being greedy and fight. They will both be making crazy money anyway
