its a CONTRACT... Wlad cannot just go somewhere else (another station) he would be sued. for Haye to ask for "highest bidder in germany" is nothing more then asking for something he KNOWS Wlad CANNOT agree to (even if he wanted to)

Haye saves face by saying "I tired"... but when you ask for something you know damn well the other side has to say no... isnt that causing a NO FIGHT:huh is that ducking:huh

    Haye is to blame.

Wlad offers Haye 50:50 with no otpions. Haye lies when he opens his mouth. Time to shut up for Haye.

Haye was given what he initially asked for and bailed - how can he not be at fault for this not happening?

True. There's a misconception here that the UK public will be buying a Wlad/Haye PPV, because of Haye alone. That's just not entirely true. In order for Haye to generate that much recognition, it'll require him to face a daunting Klitschko. That's where the hype will be fuelled. The UK media will be playing off the Klitschko's status of the dominant Heavyweight king, who will be de-throned by their very own David Haye.

Haye respected Wlad's deal with RTL by suggesting Wlad kept the German TV money and he kept the British TV money, with the rest split 50:50; you will recall that Wlad declined to sign on those terms.

I quote, "isnt that causing a NO FIGHT:huh is that ducking:huh"

Exactly, Wlad is trying to steal Haye's hard earned cash right out of his pocket. I think if Wlad really wanted to fight Haye, he would give him all the money, all the rights, and no rematch clauses. Only than will Wlad prove he truly wants this fight. Haye has already shown time and time again he is willing to fight the monsters of the division..Barret floored Tua, Valuev is simply an all time great beast, and Ruiz was in his second prime after destroying a peak McCline.

I agree 100%. Thats actually being overgenerous. I mean UK fans are paying to see Haye alone and German fans will be watching to see Haye fight Wlad. Haye is clearly the bigger draw. As far as America goes...I would pay every dime I have to see Haye punch a cardboard cut out. He is that entertaning!!!!

That's right. Like Mayweather sr would say, "that's so plain to see right there that y'all can see". Except y'all can't see. Haye's wants to make cash against lesser opponents before taking on Klitschko. All this bull**** about contracts, tv stations and all that **** is a load of crap. You gotta be one delusional nuthugging m'f'er not to see that ****. Some of you fools are clutching at straws here, trying to find some reason other than the one that Haye knows Wlad is a very high risk fight and would likely beat him and **** up his future earnings. All you m'f'ers arguing about how Wlad's offer wasn't fair and how Haye should keep all the UK PPV money, the thing is that you gotta be a delusional m'f'er to think Haye (just another beltholder) is even worth 50% in the first place. The offer Wlad gave is very generous. Imagine if Mayweather was a heavyweight and David Haye pulled the same **** and demanded 50/50. Imagine Floyd's reaction :rofl Dude would pop a blood vessel.

I'm not calling the dude a *****, I'm not calling him a coward, but I AM saying that he don't want none yet. He don't want none cuz it's too high a risk. He's all about the cash and won't face a Klit untill the last fight before his retirement.

if it were the other way around.. germany had PPV and the UK didnt and Haye has a simple contract... you know, as we all know... NO WAY HAYE WOULD ACCEPT THAT.... so why should Wlad?

    The goalposts have shifted.

    You are merely surmising.

    Right, that's it.

I shall decline to comment further.

hmmm. I was a Haye fan but when the whole klit/haye thing broke i turned away from him. Hearing this though, i can UNDERSTAND why Haye turned it down, and i can understand why the Klits turned it down.

Haye will be bringing the majority of the purse, so he wants Klit to bring more money into the pot. But even if the Klits find another network, how much more are they gonna get? An extra 2 mill? 3 mill? Even in that case His sky Sports ppv money will far exceed that. So in any case, he would always be bringing the majority of the money.

Wlad knows if haye keeps UK ppv and he keeps rtl, he would be making far less. Which we know he wont accept. Fair enough. thats why HE turned it down. But from wlad POV, it seems he would be making far more money from this fight than any of his others, where he gets what £3mill per fight?

To me it just seems as if greed is getting in the way. But as a BOXING FAN, i want both to just STFU and fight already.

Its harder for americans to understand this scenario because in the US, its one network, split 50/50 or 60/40 depending on who the draw is. In this case we have two additional countries bringing money into the pot so its not as simple as saying ''put everything into the pot and split it 50/50''. Coz in this case Haye is bringing far more money to the table.

My guess is that once the klits are free from their rtl contract, they will find another network for this fight and it will take place.

So the conclusion for me is that Haye is Greedy and despite him saying hes not in it for the money, he IS. Which is fair enough i understand that. Every boxer is these days. But he shouldnt have said in the first place hes fighting for legacy not money and not called the Klits out as badly as he did. Its only coz of THIS that hes looking stupid now. But it also seems hes not scared to fight them either. Its purely a money thing.

As for the Klits, their ego wont let them accept the fact that haye would end up with the most money (if haye kept uk ppv). Again, i can understand that. They have been the champions for a while now. To them, haye is the challenger. Sadly, thats not how the game is played now. Its all about the draw and the money.

For me, both should STFU stop being greedy and fight. They will both be making crazy money anyway
