David Haye Video Update

Wladimir said on a video-message that "the David Haye thing is PERSONAL" and yesterday on the radio show he said "its not about Money, its Personal" again.

Now, NOT ACCEPTING one of these two OPTIONS (mentioned in the Haye video, assuming they're true) proves that this thing is NOT SO PERSONAL for Wlad and that David Haye is NOT the only one who cares about money more than about fans and the sport.

 

In fewer words: "I'm the *****."

 

So this was Haye's big announcement? Where he vowed to "reveal all". We knew all this ****, Booth spoke about this in June. All this isn't new.

I don't think anyone outside of the UK knows who David Haye is...

 

What about that comment that the klits have been avoiding ruiz for years :rofl Come on thats some funny stuff right there, people who say things like that lose some credability imo and as for that giant, well another guy whos not happy to fight for good money, he wants more too

Personally i think the klits should just forget about haye as he will more than likely not fight anytime soon, haye may just realise that maybe hes not as big a ppv star as he thinks he is

 

When Haye is the undisputed champion then he can keep all the UK money and not let anyone else have it. But he's not the champ. He's the challenger. He only wants to keep all the UK PPV money because he knows there is a HUGE chance he is going to get knocked the spark out and his earning potential is going to plummet. It's very transparent. And a real shame, because Haye is great to watch.

 

you're missing the point! Haye is putting more money in to that pot from his tv deal, than Wlad is putting in. What part of that do you not understand?? atsch

Since Wlad cannot generate more money from signing with another network, and haye is aware of that, then he's saying ok fine, you keep what you get from RTL, I'll keep what I get from SKY, and all the rest is 50-50. It's pretty simple and the best solution. If Haye is putting into in say, 60% and Wlad 40% then it's split, then Haye is losing. That is not 50-50!!!

The only solution is that both stars keep their money from tv networks and all the rest is split. As someone mentioned it was good enough for Mayweather v Ricky Hatton, so it should be good enough for Wlad. But no, Wlad is unable to bring in much himself since he;s tied up, then the only solution for their to be a fight is for Wlad to accept the Haye solution.

For example if I sold 1000 cars and made 100 million (figures are not accurate) and someone else sold 1000 cars and made 60 million. Then the person who made the lower figure tells me to put my 100 million in to the pot with his 60 million and we split it. Tell me how that works out for the guy who made the greater amount of money from his sales?

So you decide how much Haye deserves? Are you idiots even trying anymore? I like both Wlad and Haye so this whole mess is annoying. However, the fact is boxing is most certainly money driven, as are boxers. Neither party is innocent, the deciding factor is money and ego, if you think otherwise then take Wlad's **** out your mouth for one second.

Haye deserves more because he undoubtedly generates more.
Haye is fighting for money and if you believed all that stuff about legacy and his bad-mouthing everyone then boo-hoo grow up stop being so naive.
Wlad is not infallible, don't believe everything that comes out of his camp (same as Haye). There is too much that happens behind the scenes for any of us to really make a proper judgement.

If Hayes right about that,Wlad has to have a few questions asked about him here.

 

obviously not - if Haye wanted the fight to go to the higher bidder in Germany and the Klits said no they have a contract with RTL - it implies that RTL was not the higher bidder.

 

Why? Even Haye said the reason the fight could not go to the highest bidder in germany was because of the klits contract with RTL.

I dont think any party has anything to answer for.

Haye is correct to say that if he is going to make less money from the fight due to the klit's relationship with RTL then he may as well let the klits keep the germany money and he will take the UK money.

 

Wlad wanted a piece of Haye's Sky PPV deal. Haye negotiated that deal himself. Even "Money" Mayweather let Hatton keep his PPV money from Sky.

If Wlad wanted to fight and beat up Haye as much as he says he does, why not accept the 2nd offer where he keeps his RTE money and Haye keeps his Sky money?

 

It was a 50/50 split but the money in germany was low due to the klit's contract with RTL - so Haye loses out cause the Klits are on a long term contract with RTL?

Haye said 50/50 was acceptable only if the TV rights in Germany went to the highest bidder, not to RTL who probally have a low rate due to making a long term investment in the klits.
