Entirely? Not when the point is that "legit" belt was practicaly handed to DLH on a silver platter. We had two guys with zero significant wins fight for the title. Mayorga when he fought Piccarillo, and then DLH when he fough Mayorga.

No, your boy marg looked like **** in his LAST fight too. Not just the Mosley fight.

Now it's wrong for pac to fight people he might lose to? He did it against ODLH when everyone thought he would lose.

People are moar concerned with protecting the manny pacquiao image than having the best fights available in boxing.

It's actually the other way around to be honest. Pac fans just want to see Pac in the ring with Floyd. Floyd fans on the other hand are more concerned with Floyd winning the negotiation battle, rather than seeing him in the ring with Pac. As long as Floyd's happy, they're happy.

Those guys are willing to come down to 154 to fight dapidran. Paul Williams was even willing to go all the way down to 147, so 154 should be no problem.

No one is feeling he SHOULD lose to marg.

Roach has been quoted that emmanuel dapidran has grown into a welterweight.

Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, Andre Berto, Tim Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, etc are all better options than tacocheato.

mayorga had like 7 or 8 fights at JrMW before his chance at the vacant title (no catch)

    piccirillo had a few too

they were both involved in that weight class, and fought for a vacant title

ODLH has several years of fights at both JrMW and MW and he fought mayorga at JrMW (no catch)

floyd then moved up from WW to fight ODLH, no catch

    now we have this

margo: 1 fight at 154 in like what....5 years and before that, didn't he lose his fight at 154?

    pac: zero fights at 154

and these two guys get a shot at the vacated title (at a catch)?

    wtf....not even close

What did Floyd do the last time a fight with manny couldn't be made? He took the best option available at the time which was Shane Mosley.

You can't be a boxing fan and seriously say fighting marg is better than Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, Andre Berto, Tim Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, etc. Those are all options available for emmanuel dapidran, but he chose marg. If Floyd was going to fight again this year I would expect him to fight one of those guys save tim bradley and marquez.

Well I was replying to this quote of yours...

"People are moar concerned with protecting the manny pacquiao image than having the best fights available in boxing"

That's not true. The best fight available for Pac is Floyd, and that's the fight that the Pac fans, and boxing fans worldwide is asking for. Floyd brings up OSDT, and now all of a sudden, his followers hang on every excuse he makes. If Floyd wanted stool samples from Manny and Manny were to refuse, the Floydboyz would be all over Manny by saying "why cant he just **** in a bag everyday for $40mil" Where do u guys draw the line and say "Cmon Floyd, just fight the dude?. Never mind all this extra stuff".

Most fans want to see Floyd/Pac. The diehard Floydboyz only care about what benefits Floyd. I dont get it.

Marquez actually has skills that marg does not. Tim Bradley would actually fight instead of stand there like Clottey.

Only reason he's taking marg is because he knows its an EASY payday.

Floyd isn't available for whatever the **** his vacation reasoning is. You're saying you rather see emmanuel dapidran fight the 10th place, marg, best alternative instead of the higher ranked ones like Williams, Martinez, Berto, Marquez, Bradley, etc?

This fight with marg benefits marg, manny, bob arum, and top rank. It doesn't help boxing when there are better options around for him.

In all fairness, Pac doesnt pic his fights. Bob does. I've never seen Pac refuse a fight that was presented to him. I highly doubt that if Pac were presented with Bradley, he would turn it down. Why fight Cotto, yet turn down someone like Bradley? LOL

Who knows? Maybe bob slipped him some extra money under the table.

I give manny moar credit for his intelligence than the average boxing fan. He must be counting on the brown pride for life boys like freddy-wak to be making his money by buying this fight.

Cheap way for pacquiao to win another belt in another weight class...without having to actually face the guy in that weight class.

For example...WHY is it okay to fight Clottey at 147 but NOT cotto?

Like another said before me...this **** is absurd. i wont even bother watching it

Did he rely on the brown boys to buy his Clottey fight? That fight did quite well for having a B opponent with absolutely zero fanbase. I'm not happy about this matchup, but as fans of this downspiraling sport, we have no choice but to suck it up. If anything, the handwrap scandal will probably add to ppv sales.

He learned from his mistake. This is why he's counting on the brown pride for life team this time.

I'm not buying this fight. It might do a lot due to the controversy, but I'm still not going to buy it.
