Anybody born in Northern Ireland can legally obtain either(or both) an Irish passport or a British Passport.
http://www.nationalgeographicexpeditions.com/expeditions/britishisles/detail Well Ireland being the name for the 26 county Republic and also the island probably confuses people, hence why you will often hear Republic of Ireland being referred to in Britain. However since Britain is the island and not the political state you can assume that the Ireland being talked about is also the island and therefore it should make sense to you that Britain=England, Scotland and Wales Ireland= 'Republic of Ireland' and Northern Ireland. If I was to say UK and Ireland, we'd be talking political states and it'd be UK=England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland Ireland= 'Republic of Ireland' mixing and matching islands with political states just wouldn't make sense would it. Would you consider John Duddy not to be foreign, but Barry McGuigan to be so ?, afterall Duddy is Northern Irish but McGuigan is from the Republic. While I agree that nationality is subjective it is a fact that Northern Ireland is not part of Britain, this is recognised by the British government themselves. it is however part of the UK. To say Northern Ireland is in Britain would be factually incorrect.
I dnt really rate Fana right now...the other two though they r good, rnt even rated in BSA rankings so I didn't bother puttin them down.
No, he is not. Martinez is a Spaniard-- period. Why is this so goddamn hard for people to understand?? :huh
You are using the official definition of Hispanic, and thus you are indeed correct. An individual of Spanish descent in the New World can in fact claim Hispanic heritage. I incorrectly assumed you were employing the word Hispanic in the more colloquial definition here in the States, when many folks refer to someone as "Hispanic" (regardless of whether they have a drop of Spanish blood in them or not) on the basis of whether they speak Spanish. Nonetheless, you were indeed correct in your assertion.
Read my post above. Cheers! :good Hoops PS- My grandfather, who emigrated from Spain, detested the label "Hispanic." He would say, "I am a Spaniard!" lol

---------------------------------------- I am not going to respond to such petluance. Lindsay is looking decent though.
---------------------------------- Hi rjko23 - I think he is both Irish & British. what you say is true but he also played hurling for Tipp which is as English as playing cricket for Lancashire. Funny enough I normally get behind British boxers and I'm a big fan of Rendall Munroe. Like the guy. There you go a bernard Dunne fan cheering on Rendal Munroe. I don't do nationaility debates though so really don't care either way. Macklin is a class act and a decent ambassador for the sport. Lee might be champ if he can get a fight with Sturm or Sylvester in the next 18 months! However he will be in a reall tough division by then.
