My main thought is unless you actually have some involvement in the contract negotiations and can therefore make some reasonable projections about what the numbers you're talking about are, you're just pulling random figures out of your arse. What's the point of that?

You probably should be cautious with Sky Box Office sales figures. Unlike HBO Sky almost never announce numbers. The only exceptions are for exceptionally high numbers for publicity purposes (eg. Lewis/Tyson, Hatton/Mayweather and Haye/Valuev come to mind). So any figures you see are usually either unofficial and unverifiable or completely made up.

If Haye/Ruiz did do 500k that's pretty impressive actually. I wouldn't be suprised if that figure is high side though.

What on Earth are you talking about? You can't compare different contexts or different countries with entirely different broadcasting histories and models.

Wlads last fights have been broadcast in the US on PPV. Does that mean he's popular in the US? No, it actually signifies the opposite.

And why they don't air haye then? Haye has good money only because brits are buying PPV. While in Germany it's unspeakable to buy PPV for anything other than F1 or FIFA world cup.
