Overeem is a quality representative. Though technically K1 is a form of MMA. K1 should be embraced. It requires different things but I think it can REALLY help a MMA.

I voted Arlovski cos that guy needs to get some wins and get some confidence back.

Kharitonov has a better chance in the K1 than AA. I voted for Manhoef.

Did you see Kharitonov`s fight in K1 last year against Daniel Ghita? One of the most brutal displays of leg kicks I have ever seen.

Why? Do you hate the guy? His chin won't allow it.

    Vote Manhoef or Aerts.

Ghita kicked the living **** out of his legs from the time the bell first rang. Kharitonov pisses me off sometimes as he just lacks ring intelligience. Instead of checking those kicks he simply ate consistent low kicks knee's and shots to the body and then tried to use his boxing with telegraphed shots to halt Ghita's assault?! I just couldnt understand what i was watching.

If you think thats bad imagine what would happen to a chiny guy like AA.

I think he could do allright. He's pretty tall and quick, did some boxing training and is used to kicking and standup fighting in mma.

Why? There are much better and more exciting fighters on that list. Not to mention he would get KTFO. I voted for Gokhan Saki.

I would also like to see Nathan Corbett in there.

good fighter but, might not be big enough to compete with the 6'6" badr hari, the 7' shilt, overeem, bonjasky.

Disappointing really because he is a skilled and exiting fighter who could be a k1 champ provided they created a cruiserweight/supercruserweight class (86-95kg)

ps. if mma fighters like fedor and bret rogers were able to find and break andrie's glass chin, imagine what it will be like for him in the K1 gp?

His chin has a snowballs chance in hell of remaining intact. Especially after his last preference against bigfoot silva!

Yeah Corbett would have to compete for the Heavyweight Title exclusively against the guys like Saki, Kyotaro, Manhoef, Spong etc; other guys who aren't quite big enough to compete with the monsters in the WGP.

As for Arlovski, at the least it would be an entertaining KO. Could always do with more of them.:D

    :lol::lol::lol:

    highlight reel ko!

then again we might be surprised, who would have thought overeem would ko badr hari in their first fight!

it just goes to show never to count out someone completely.

Hmm, I suppose, but Overeem had a lot more going for him than Arlovski does. Size, strength, a chin not made of glass and he was coming out of possibly the best Kickboxing camp in the world.

A lot of people write off Overeem when it comes to the K-1 WGP because of Hari, Schilt etc. But Overeem has shown he can beat Hari; who with his average at best chin and weak mentality can be beaten. They are 1-1 and Overeem KOed Hari more decisively (for what it's worth). Overeem can hang with the best in Bonjasky. We don't really know how a fight with Schilt would go, but obviously Schilt would be favourite.

I'd favour Overeem over everyone in the GP bar Schilt and being fairly even with Hari.:deal
