I went with Pacquiao TKO, think it would be late, but as HOF'er said the constant pressure he would put the Zoo under makes me think he would stop him.

That said if Zoo landed a few early anything could happen

Sorry to ride off your post, Ringnut, but in response to Dingbad's crap, any where else in the world and Hatton, who was in his very prime against a ring rusty Tszyu, would have been disqualified well before the 11th round.
Both fighters have to follow a set of agreed rules laid down in order to make a fair fight, if Kostya was allowed to punch full power to the groin, headbutt and shoulder at will and didn't get warnings for being headbutted then the fight may have had a very different out come.

The straight right hand is the best weapon vs a southpaw. KT had the best straight right ever at 140.

I think KT can handle pac's speed as well much like he handled Judah's. I see Kt knocking Pac clean out with a cocked straight right. I favor KT in this style match up.

    Pac has a puncher's chance.

I definitely side with Pac now...Even if he has trouble, his output and conditioning is going to overwhelm Tszyu down the stretch.

But it would be interesting as hell to see how he dealt with a guy with true fight changing power that can actually catch him somewhat consistently...Kostya was cold as ice, patient and accurate..this patience is going to see him take 3 or 4 punches to land one and the rounds will tick by against him.
But I would really like to see how Pac reacted to getting nailed by a few Tszyu right hands, if he backed off a bit and became more tactical thats only going to work in Kostya's favour.

I do feel the smart money is on Manny though.

    Great match-up.

Tszyu produced the greater work at 140lbs...but Pacquiao looked his best at 140lbs, and not just because he KO'd Hatton in 2. At 140lbs, I believe Pacquiao found the right mix of speed and power...even though it was only 2 rounds we seen of him.

If we are talking prime for prime...I'd have it almost a 50-50 bout, favouring Pacquiao slightly. However, like someone has already mentioned...Tszyu had a great straight right, and it isn't the hardest punch to hit Pacquiao with.

    Tough one.

Pac would maybe be too much and Tszyu would struggle to dictate the pace early on. It would probably stay that way too but Tszyu had that right hand which can change a fights course at any time should it land.

It's a great fight but I would say Pac gets the nod after 12 tough rounds for both men.

Tszyu is slow and robotic. He wouldn't find Pac with his right hand.

I see Pac bloodying KT and the ref sees enough by 9th round.

Timing .. Tszyu had great timing, which could neutralize speed. Tszyu was a very smart fighter. I don't know who would have won, but it would be a great fight. The Hatton fight was not in Tszyu's prime.

Close fight to call. Total war i think if it goes to points its very close but in Manny favour. Tszyus right would cause Manny nightmares though and Tszyu loves throwing it when a comeforward fighter is on the way in, he could maybe get a KO.

    Hatton beat a prime Tszyu.

IMO Cotto TKOs Tszyu. Too skilled and too varied arsenal for mr roboto.

Remember dont judge zoo by his last fight with hatton where he was wrestled into submission and was old.

Prime zoo was a beast when it came to conditioning, his conditioning was legendary, he threw a lot of punches when he was in his prime with tremendous accuracy.

Also as has been pointed out Zoo was a master with his timing. Id venture to say when Zoo fought Zab that Zab was faster then Pac ever has been.

    1. Zoo has better power
    2. Awesome straight right hand, best weapon vs pac
    3. Better Balance and timing

Im not saying pac cant win this fight on volume punching. But from a styles standpoint I see Zoo too much here for pac.

Clottey found Pacquiao with near enough every right hand he threw...whats saying Tszyu couldn't?

And no...Tszyu wasn't prime when Hatton beat him.

Like I said, I'd favour Pacquiao slightly...but these posts are crazy...
