that's fair. i disagree (especially on caballero) with some but as a whole many of them are certainly in competition for a top 10 spot and could be said to displace williams:bbb

No. It is up to YOU the consumer to actually have some common sense. How many times do these fools have to tell you contradictory lies before you actually wake up?

-- Pac said he agreed to 14 days and now he agreed to full testing?
-- Arum said 14 days was never offered, then was, but still fought Clottey?
-- Arum/Pac when pressed for drug details "can't comment", but now can?
-- HBO clown "snitches" saying there were talks, but gives no details?
-- Dan Rafeal was all over his sight sayin' he didn't know anything now it is all/mostly Mayweather's fault?
-- Hey Dan, what were the purse details since Pac had that flop fight?

Where there is that much BS what is the point of defending yourself? It makes me wonder how any of these clowns have a job. Then you have people like you that help me understand.

Do you agree there is 20 mentioned there (given I have blurted out 35) that are more skilled and have better or the same kind of resume as Williams (but with more skill which makes them warrant a higher place)?

Do you agree Williams is in no shape or form a p4p top 10 fighter?

what i agree with is your point that we don't really know what's going on. we don't know what's going on with pac, nor do we know what's going on with mayweather. we get snippets here and there, half truths no doubt told by both sides. from what we did hear, pac looked bad in the first negotiations and mayweather looked bad in the second. was the info accurate? who the **** knows

But Cabellero is the same as Williams but lower down, the slightly better boxer, more skilled and probably a tad more powerful in comparison + He I think he's much better to watch, as opposed to the windmilling punch connect percentage of 4% Mr Paul Williams.

not necessarily, but i certainly don't think it's nearly as clear a placement as i previously did. it's hypocritical to say one lose doesn't ruin a career and fighters should take more risks and then automatically discard them, their resumes and skills when they lose (ie: mosley). If i were to sit down and go through your list, i'll tell you i would have more trouble finding a spot for williams than i did an hour ago:good

your placement seems based on skills, more than resume (fair enough). cabellero has beat one boxer in the top 40 (molitor) who himself was overrated all to ****. his resume is nowhere near top 20 to me

Mathebula (though a bit of a gift). Yordan, Parra, Sithchatchawal, Daniel Ponce de Leon.

I thought of another fighter whos resume is better than Williams and its very embarrassing for me to say evedn though I dislike Williams.....

    Juan Diaz :rofl:deal

There are definitely AT LEAST 20 there with undeniably better resume's. But sopme more than others you have to go into depth and look at who some of their oppoentns beat just to realise how good some of their records are. This is why Caballero has an underrated record IMO.

ewww, yeah maybe 2 years ago. but when you lose 5 of your last 6, it's time for retirement not p4p placement:!:

Then I just proved why the p4p debate is more skills than resume. Also the trend that fighters generally slip down the list when they get too old backs it up.

And yes I know skills and resume do have a correlation.

hey, not always. sometimes creative matchmaking can compensate for detoriating skills (cough mayweather cough)

I know, original I was writing that they do go hand in hand, but that made it sound like all the time where'as correlation is simply that their is a relationship, which is pretty obvious.

But Juan Diaz has a better resume than Williams. He has better wins. Its baout who you beat, not necessarily who you lose to otherwise Pacquiao wouldn't be first or second having lost 3 times and being sparked out twice by nobodies.

This just backs up my point that p4p should be based more on skills.

i think diaz proves otherwise. it is who you beat but it's a current picture. currently, diaz is sitting on four loses in a row. as a career, impressive resume. as of this moment: he's kind of ****
