I've never been a fan of tape delay, it takes some of the excitement out of it for me, even if I haven't seen the result. And I'm always paranoid I'll see the result on accident.

For those in the US that want to watch it LIVE.
It's going to be on ESPN3.com. That's the only way to see it live.

However, you don't have to settle for watching it on your computer screen. I'll be watching it on a nice big plasma. Here's how:

If your computer AND TV have an HDMI port, simply connect a cable between the two, and you can watch live on your TV, instead of the computer. This is what I've done for other internet fights, and it works great. I got a 35ft HDMI cable at monoprice.com for around $30 total with shipping.

There are other ways to connect to your TV, even if you don't have HDMI. Just google what you do have, or search youtube and you'll find videos that show you how to set it up.

Remember, once it's setup, you can use it to watch ANYTHING (hulu, etc...) on your TV, not just this particular fight....so it's really worth the small amount of money and hassle to set it up.

Ya I know....but from what I've read, a lot of people must not know. Otherwise they wouldn't be complaining about how in order to see it, they've got to watch it from their tiny computer monitor.

I'm not sure....it's on ESPN3.com, NOT ESPN.com, so you'll have to check it out and see.

I believe it's going to be shown on ESPN DEportes at 8 PM the same day. So, if you don't mind Spanish-speaking announcers, you can watch it.

Yes the topic starter is right about the HDMI thing. But your pc does need to have a HDMI port, many recent PCs and laptops have it, but not older models. HDMI does give the best picture transfer to a tv screen, as there is no loss in quality, detail and colours.

All other methods that I have tried do not give that good a picture, that would be super VHS video out. But if you got HDMI on both pieces of hardware you are sorted!

My plasma has a VGA connection. It works nicely except my laptop doesn't support widescreen, so I get the gray bars on the side. Nevertheless it's still better than watching on a computer even though my monitor is 24".

If you can access the content on ESPN3.com, it's free...but it's only available in some areas, not all....it's by Internet Service Provider.

    Here's a FAQ page: http://espn.go.com/espn3/faq#1
