He looks much leaner and his face is no where near as bloated. He should weigh in around 230, mid 230s Its good to see he's taking his career seriously again. Wladimir should get full credit when he lays him out
He will be stopped. Peter knows what its like to lose now. Don't expect to see that same fire in him that kept him going in the first fight. He is on the verge of being a shot fighter in my honest opinion.
Yeah, I just want to rub my hands all over his body (no homo) and in spectacular shapes like lean mean fighting machine, real trim, damnzs o,o
Didn't Billy Conn think and hope he could repeat his '41 display against Joe Louis in 1946? Conn was dumped in the 8th in the rematch... If Peter thinks he's facing the self-doubting Wlad Klit of 2005, Peter is high as a kite..... Peter is a fool...... A complete, utter fool......... WORD! MR.BILL
The best physique in the world still don't change the fact that Peter is a very low skilled fighter. He's below Arreola and Tua in the skills department. Peter's only chance is a hail mary and due to the height differences he will need to eat a lot of jabs to set up a shot like that.
One strong punch and Wlad will be his old deer in the lights self, trust me. Chin problems like that don't go away. If Peter finds a way to land some power shots (thats a big if), he can spark Wlad out.
I'm glad he is at least trying to get himself into the best possible shape for this fight. However, I won't buy into the notion that if Peter somehow loses weight he will also gain some skill from somewhere. It wasn't a lack of conditioning that lost him the first fight - he just wasn't good enough. I also think he hasn't gotten any better since then, whilst WALDO has. I agree that Peter looked good against Maskaev winning the title but has hardly wowed us since. I can see a usually tentative WALDO just laying single jabs and the odd 1-2 until Peter is totally spent, and maybe force a mercy stoppage.
Sam's only chance is a miracle punch, so this should be entertaining as long as it's not completely too one-sided. That's pretty much the reason I enjoyed the first fight. And it kinda sorta happened. Watching Waldo stagger him in the last round was pretty funny.
Looking good...I really am hoping Peter can pull out the W in this fight, sadly its highly unlikely as good a shape that he is in, I feel Waldo is jus gonna set him up and then take him out late... Either way...WAR PETER!!!
