I'd love to see Wlad in another exciting fight like the first one. I hope Peter can give him that fight

It would have been so much better for heavyweight boxing if Peter had always stayed in the shape he appears to be in now

he looks in good shape but wlad will win in round 10 or 11 by TKO wlad is to fast for peter he will punish peter only round with his fast hard Jab and hard Right Punch i see no chance for peter to beat wlad. But i hope that peter wins.

Can't say I'm a fan... but it's great to see Sammy finally getting his ass in proper shape!

Definately makes things a little more interesting for 9/11.

Well at least Peter looks like he realized that this is his very last chance. Hopefully he can make the fight interesting for a couple of rounds, heck maybe he can even score an upset. It's not like Wlad is invincible.

Boxing needs more fighters like Sam Peter. Okey, his skills might be limited. But he got the balls to fight and he looks in good shape!

No, he can't. He landed good power shots against a nervous Wlad who was one loss away from ending his career in 2005. It wasn't enough. Sanders hit harder than Peter and needed four knockdowns and good footspeed to chase Wlad around for the the next knockdown. One punch has never beaten Wlad and never will.

Peter was undefeated in 2005 and hailed as the new Tyson by boxing writers. He two losses to the Klitschkos, one loss to a Klitschko victim and three knockdowns against another Klitschko victim. Wlad has become much better at blocking punches.

If fighter A is the overall better fighter and fighter B has guts, a good chin and some power for an upset, fighter B will always have the best shot in a first fight. Superior fighters tend to win rematches after being upset (Louis - Schmeling, Lennox - Rahman, Robinson - LaMotta, Ali - Frazier and so many more examples). Peter had his chance and couldn't use it.

That pic looks so much worse than the others...Peter has that weird gut, you can see abs when he's in shape, but it still sticks out.

Peter is definitely in better shape than he has been, my guess is that he will be close to his most recent fights, which is around 240.

That's not belly fat. Those are just impressively large abs bunched together, the way abs should be, into one really terrifying ab. Like James Toney has.
