His left hook has been mostly missing in action since Steward took over, which is a ****ing shame indeed.

 

Most of his past few orthodox opponents Austin, Rahman, and Chambers were all KOed and stopped by left hooks.

Its been missing in action because he's been fighting so many south paws like Byrd, Chagaev, Sultan, and Thompson. Left hooks aren't wise to use against their kind.

 

He recently said he plans to KO Peter with that punch, or the right hand, whatever comes.

 

Throwing anything other than stiff jabs would endanger the robot's chin and Steward knows it.

 

The left hook could be seen against Austin! With Steward in Wlad´s corner. And in round 12 against Chambers.

 

I also wish Wlad would bring back the shag haircut.

Agreed. If Wlad had been fighting as of late, how he had been fighting pre-Sanders, he'd be hailed instead of rediculed like he is... Dude was a wrecking machine.

 

He does seem to be throwing it less, which is bizarre because manny himself said that wlad's left hook is the most single devastating punch he has ever seen in guys he has trained.:huh
