He should fight Solis or Tua.

i'd prefer barrett than tua. adamek and tua will never fight due to having the same trainer. many feel barrett beat tua, and i bet barrett would take it for less money.

still, i'm sure i'll still watch adamek dismantle maddalone, when i get the chance.

Good fights, but Tua is a no-no since they are both good friends reportedly, and both train in the same gym with Bloodworth. Adamek was asked about that in an interview and he dismissed any chance for it for those exact reasons.

Solis would be a good fight as well, but too dangerous before a fight with the Klitschkos, I think. He is going to take someone just to keep busy while he waits for what is seemingly a March showdown against one of the brothers, not point in risking that with a fight against Solis now.

i think he'll get more rounds in, before going for a klitschko brother. he'll surely want to try for improvements on the grant fight, before doing anything near challenging a 6'7 heavyweight. there are things he cna do, so i hope to see something like a lance whitaker fight, early next year.

More rounds with a guy like Maddalone will do nothing but possibly contribute to training fatigue. Just not a worthwhile opponent, considering a risk of injury etc. IMO a deserved break would be more valuable before a fight with Vitali than expending energy on a fighter like Madallone. Adamek should make a calculated risk again and fight someone in the top ten. I think a really good choice of opponent would be Valuev. In addition to getting in more rounds with a high profile big man, Adamek can show Haye how to fight a giant. It would be a good fight for comparison purposes and topping Haye's performance would not be difficult. Other oppponents can include Boytsov, Dimitrenko and Chagaev, guys that Adamek should be able to outbox.

If the rumour is true, Adamek may fight with Vitali early next year (MSG, 40th anniversary of Frazier-Ali I). So then only one easy fight (November or December) before the title fight makes sense. In my opinion fight with Whitaker woudlnt count as easy victory (as proved the fight with Grant, when Adamek won clearly, but was outmuscled)

Fighting Valuev wouldnt help Adamek in preparation to possible fight with Vitali. Not only Valuev is much slower than Klitschko but possess far less skills. I think that Valuev is has the lowest skillset among the champions in the boxing history...
Whats more, Valuev is the biggest boxer ever and fighting such a big dude may cause an injury. I agree that Adamek should fight a top contender, but only when the fight with Vitali in March cant be done. Then an eliminator fight against boxers like Solis or Povetkin would be ideal.

What about fight with Maddalone? It would be sparring, nothing more, just like against Bobby Gunn. Important is that Adamek wants to stay busy and fight frequently.

If Adamek gets the Vitali fight in March, I wouldn't have problems with him fighting Maddalone, but would still prefer a tougher challenge.

I would prefer him fight Whitaker next if he is going for a Klitschko around March.

Maddalone does nothing for Adamek, other then earn him some easy cash and keep him busy... which may be what he wants. No matter how you look at it, his fight with Grant was a tough one.

Good prep match for Vitali imo. A lot of people here wouldn't like this due to the risk. They want to see a fight with a Klitschko or Haye first, then tough challangers like Thompson. Adamek would get major props if he signed a fight with Thompson before getting a title shot. But to many people, it seems the current momentum will carry Adamek to a tittle shot whether he will fight one more top 10 challenger or not. So why risk it?

Yeah, but so far they're doing it smartly and efficiently with both parties' interests in mind. Compare Main Events' "milking" of Adamek to Booth's "milking" of Haye. Two completly different milk jobs.

Tony Thompson appeared at Arreola - Adamek post fight conference and offered to Adamek the fight, that's the fact. I think Thompson would be even better preparation fight for Klitschko than Grant was.

I saw these posts on the first page of the Adamek Express. Its funny how people used to underestimate Adamek's abilities. He is now far more respected fighter, but still there are many idiots who doesnt give him any chance against Klitschkos or even against David Haye:-(. Why is that? :huh

Yep, there was a lot of doom and gloom posts whenever Adamek decided to move up in weight. Same goes when he selected Arreola as an opponent. Adamek was supposed to be decapitated according to something like 50% the of people who voted on multiple polls on this topic. I expect thesame doom and gloom nonsense when he fights Vitali. As to why, on paper, Adamek does not look like much, both size wise and skill wise. He doesn't excel in any one thing other than toughness and an ability to adapt to opponents.

so there might be a vitali fight in march, in MSG on HBO? HBO are willing to show vitali or wlad if it's vs vs adamek or haye?

i would think adamek'd need more practise vs taller foes. however, might be a good time to have a try, as vitali is getting older. i don't see adamek winning, but i can see him having some success. and if he does well, he can come back.

adamek will do better than sosnowski.
