Ok, I'm sure I'll catch ALOT of flak for this one, but honestly for me, I got caught up in the hype of "The World Awaits". It was one of the few fights, where EVERYONE I knew was asking/talking to me about it cause everyone knows I'm the "boxing guy" in my group of friends.

I'll NEVER forget how glued to the TV screen me and all my buddies were the whole fight even the is was an over-rated chess match. We were ALL rooting for DLH to finally end Mayweather's "unbeatable" aura.

And when we finally got to the decsion, once we knew it was a split verdict, everyone was freaking out more, and Michael finally said "And the new", EVERYONE and Myself starting screaming with excitment THINKING DELAHOYA WAS THE NEW CHAMPION cause Floyd was undefeated, and forgetting it was for DLH's trinket, so we all realized together we were mistaken, and Floyd had won, it was HILARIOUSLY ANNOYING LETDOWN .

Either way I have more ridiculously exciting fight night moments, but that one was up there for me.

I was foaming at the mouth for Lewis-Tyson, it was a massive fight and like you I was the boxing guy in my group of mates. We got the alcohol in big time, and were really hyped up for the fight. In hindsight, the fight itself wasn't that great, but the star status and image of Tyson lying flat on his back will always stay with me.

Morales-Pac was a good one. The card was pretty damn entertaining all throughout and i remember being the only one backing Morales up in the room.

Everyone kept talking about how Pac was just too much.

The Arce-Hussein fight right before was sick too.

I was excited for Hatton-Mayweather because I watched it with a load of mates, I was excited for Ruiz-Haye because I was there, but probably Vitali Klitschko coming back to fight Peter was the most exciting for me. It seems like people forget now that Vitali was actually the (slight) underdog at the time

Drunk jumping in the air when Pac nailed that decapitating left on Hatton. I wanted to box everyone in the room.

Yea I was pretty pumped for this one as well for obvious reasons.

I was SOOOO pissed once it was stopped, and I realized I just watched a completely one sided massacre of my favortie fighter. I almost broke my hand punching the floor that night

Mayweather vs Hatton was ridiculously fun. The hype was there and the atmosphere in the Uk was somehting new, it doesnt usually happen here.

The Taylor vs Abraham was special to me because i was there, Berlin is amazing and i recommend that city to anyone. The white canvas is so bold and nice

As someone said already Pac-Morales one was awesome.

Hopkins outclassing Pavlik was great too because all the casual boxing fans though B-Hop was going down but I would have bet my life on that one.

Growing up with my dad and his friends always getting the PPV's, I was lucky. When Hopkins fought Trinidad, I was in my early 20s and had the fight and the party at my house for the first time. It was an entertaining fight and I tripled my money on Hopkins. Really, it was the rite of passage that made the night so special.
