I have it scored in favor of Froch through nine... Froch doesn't get enough credit. I think Tarver says it best, "Froch is that guy that pisses you off because when you watch tape on him you know you got him. But you get him in the ring and his unorthodox style coupled with his heart make him a tough fight for anyone."
I was biased towards Froch but I still think he lost the fight by 2 rounds because he was being to patient and letting Kessler bank the round with activity.
Kessler definitely won but it was a close fight. Technically very sloppy, but a good battle. Can't wait for Froch v Abraham. No matter what you think about Froch, he's rarely in a dull fight.
Yeah through eleven I have Froch up one, but a lot of pick'em rounds which obviously doesn't suit Froch with the fight being in Denmark. Great fight though.
I think I had Froch by 1 or 2 points, though I was in a house in Nottingham on about 5 ot 6 pints just prior to going out clubbing.
Just watched it too on ShowTime re-air of the fight. Close, HELL of a fight!!!! the last few (Championship Rounds) were ****in' AWESOME!!!! that **** is fun to watch.
I remember watching the fight live with a friend who also follows boxing, and we both felt that Froch had won the fight, although he was ahead only by a very slight margin after 12. When the W went to Kessler, I couldn't complain, being that Froch got the hometown decision in his fight with Dirrell, it was appropriate for Kessler to get the W fighting in his backyard. Froch-Dirrell was a robbery, while Froch-Kessler was a very close fight and could have gone either way, based on what the judges were looking for that night.
I heard that ****! That will be some ****in' bombs on display there. Both are kind of Super Dudes in the Championship Rounds, both deadly as hell after round 9 or 10. I expect this to be a hell of a scrap.:yep
dude you could tell his own corner thought that Froch was losing the fight. Yes it was close, I had Kessler winning by one round and that was being nice to Froch imo. Kessler had him beat and deserved the title. Great performances by both fighters
At the Froch v Dirrell (in the arena) fight I had Froch by 2 or 3 points. My scorecards are accurate according to the majority pretty much the whole time. But I did mention to a poster on here (TwoShakes) that I thought it would be a split decision so acknowledged Dirrell could have been seen as the winner, maybe. Thats the same night I saw fleaman (another poster) getting abused by 4 or 5 chavs about his glasses. :rofl
I give it to Kess on the close call, but what the **** ever judge had it 117-111 was on some good ****....puff puff pass.
