B hop scared to fight Dawson but will fight Pascal

not saying Bhop is going to win, but hes definitely not going to get his head taken off by Pascal, for christs sake

 

Hopkins may loose a UD if the fight goes the distance , but i have a feeling he will make pascal so frustrated with the roughhousing and superb defense that he'll stop him late in the fight. He saw how Pascal was pooped out in the 10th against dawson.

 

Pascal by DQ due to excessive low blows, headbutts and faking phantom low blows on himself. Bhop is at a really weird point in his career. Pascal by DQ, then chad beats pascal on rematch.

Berto Pascal is a pretty good comparison to me...

 

Hops wouldn't take this fight if he didn't think he could win. I'd say at 46 he has earned the right to pick and choose. If people want to fight him why not?

It will be close.. if Pascal doesn't come technically sound, discipline, and willing to put up a great workrate.. he can find himself losing that new championship he earned..... if he doesn't come reay, he's definitely going to be dragged into the most boring, rough-housed, hold-clinch fest, he's ever been apart of.. and wake up realizing he lost the fight

 

i agree that its weird how he never got close to a dawson fight yet jumps at the chance at fighting pascal. He would have beaten dawson imo but it would have been far more difficult due to dawsons style.

Hopkins is a wily veteran. He will beat pascal. Being big strong tough durable and slow is not the way to beat hopkins. You need to be fast and have a high workrate. Fully expect hopkins to win this one.

 

no that weird. Pascal fills up arenas in his home town where the fight is taking place. Dawson was a tough fight to win and it draw like 4000 people.
