Damn...As a Die-Hard Floyd Mayweather Fan I feel like I have just been hit with a right-hook of DISAPPOINTMENT and a straight left of SHAME:bbb!!! After reading the article on Fighthype and watching the video of Floyd acting an ASS...AGAIN!!! Floyd and "Team Mayweather" just PISSED ME THE **** OFF!!! To hear that this fight could have happened and didn't, because the Fighter that I am a fan of, says he no longer has the "urge" right now...That's ****ED UP. Team Mayweather should really be called out on this...not just by the "over zealous" Pacquiao fans, but Floyd fans should be the first to put him at the top of a *****-LIST!!!

Floyd Mayweather has just SKY-ROCKETED to the top of my "*****-LIST" surpassing Lebron James. But because I am on a "self-imposed" strike of ever talking about "Mr. James" again after he decided to leave my home-state and my favorite team to go to Miami like a STRAIGHT-*****, I won't say much about that!!!

Mad respect for Manny Pacquiao agreeing to the testing procedures...Still ain't feeling the Margarito fight though...But Mad Props to Manny!!!

I still am having a hard time using the words DUCK AND COWARD OR EVEN SAYING THAT FLOYD IS AFRAID OF MANNY PACQUIAO. I still refuse to believe that. But Floyd has reach a new-level of *****-ASS-NESS!!!

    Alright Floyd Fans....SOUND OFF.

I'll be in my bedroom, crying in my pillow!!!:|

This is a glorious day, a glorious day indeed. Couldn't possibly be more satisfying if Pac had KO'ed Floyd.

    1. Floyd never says what he means, and never says what people want to hear, unless speaking indirectly. Usually is some form of boasting.

    2. Floyd states when he comes back to boxing he'll be fighting Pacquiao

    3. Uncle Roger hasnt gone to trial yet, a problem for Floyd.

    4. Arum believed that the fight would be made in 2011.

    5. Floyd states he wants to fight next year.

What can we conclude from this? Floyd is not ducking Pacquiao. He is waiting for Rogers trial, and not only that May would insure a higher gate and revenue. Arum agrees that the fight will be made next year, all signs of Floyds statements point to next year. If Roger is out of legal trouble, the May date has passed and still no fight, THEN you can say Floyd ducked Pacquiao.

Waiting is not the same as ducking. And given that Floyds been fighting for 12 years now, there is the possibility that the "urge" to fight on a consistent basis is gone.

Well to be honest, the only thing we really learned from that article was that Pacquiao agreed to all the testing...which like you said shows how far Pacquiao is willing to go to get this fight, credit to him. But everything else like Mayweather doesn't have the 'Urge' to fight was already known by him deciding not to take the fight, and that he wasn't fighting in 2010.

When the megabout didn't come off this time around I already stated what I felt about Mayweather, and how he ****ed up the majority of fans "dreamfight". All we can hope now is that they get it on in 2011.

all floyd needs is to go to the gym and train. he is the best boxer ever laced up right? why not fight pac already? he says pac is an easy fight and he said theres no blueprint in defeating him. he can just do what he used to do in training and he can have an easy win against pac.

This thread isn't directed at you, then. This is directed at the delusional posters (bald_head, michigan, etc) who refuse to concede that point even when all the evidence is laid clearly out in front of them. It's hilarious watching their continual denial.

When you say 12 years, are you deducting his 2 years of retirement when the welterweight division was at its hottest, and his one-fight-a-year mantra now?

Great clencher. His last 3 fights against those fresh ATG's blew my mind. I want to see more 12 rd decisions and I just pray i can see him fight Ricky Hatton or JMM again.
He will come back and in 2011 and then Donaire will challenge him and he will be on vacation with Donald "lil flags" King. Why didn't Floyd want some death by a thousand left hands for 40 mill ? He will find another night of a thousand layoffs for 30.

I don't think the "die-hard" fans will ever concede until he retires. Thats what you get with every boxers "biggest fans" though.

If you ever played a sport in your life you know that practicing is a *****. Nobody likes to practice. If Floyd life has been boxing, then considering he is rich as hell right now he probably wants to enjoy his money and relax longer between fights. perfectly understandable. If Floyd wasnt going to fight Pacquiao, we would have heard a big uproar from Top Rank then we did.

Of course this is just speculation. Floyd never says what he means, and never says what people want to hear. It all could be down to Rogers trial, and Floyd saying he doesnt have the "urge" could just be him giving an answer without giving the real reason.

Concede what? That Floyd ducked Pacquiao? Why when there is no proof that Floyd wont be fighting Pacquiao. Infact the evidence points in the opposite direction. Arum stating that the fight will happen next year. Floyd saying Pac WILL take the blood tests, and that when he does come back his next fight will be against Pacquiao.
