Combine that with the head injury suffered from a motor cycle accident ..

Every time i hear the name Valero it almost brings a tear to my eyes , i was banking on this man to bring to boxing what the likes of Pacquiao and Marquez bring to the table , fantastic fights , top level technical boxing while still being agressive and looking to be offensive ....................

I remember when he died , i was thinking non stop about the guy for like 3 or 4 days , what the **** drives a man with his talents , ability and the heart of a pure warrior to do what he done ??? it makes no sense , IMO the biggest travesty in boxing ever !!!!! , RIP little man

Added to what ive said , imagine how good Valero could have been if he was 100% commited physically to the sport , i mean the guy was an alchoholic and a frequent drug user , ****in dam shame .........

Based on boxing only. I liked Valero, he had a ferocious style, heart, power. Good fighter.

When I heard his interviews, I thought he seemed like a cool guy, he seemed intelligent and was well spoken, even though he had that ******ed Chavez tattoo.

Very easy for you to say sat behind a key board !!!!

Are you an unbeaten champion of the world ???

What Valero done in his personal life has **** all to do with anyone on this forum , what you should evaluate Valero for is his boxing attributes :deal

I wish he had of killed himself before he killed his wife. She didnt deserve that. Also I dont think he was a great champion. He had good power but he was very beatable. He never fought a top class fighter so its impossible to call him a great champion
