Quit spinning that crap. Dude there is nothing wrong with eating a damned dog. It is meat. Many, but not all, Black (and other) folks eat chiterlings (pig intestines). They stink and it is a bit gross, but it is food. Every Black person I know also loves lumpia and pansit. It is just food.

Eating pork is horrible in some places. Eating beef is horrible in others. Insects are treats in some places. Nothing is wrong with getting your grub on. There is no moral component to getting sustinance.

I am sure if you take any highly dedicated athlete from ANY culture he is likely to be similarly closed minded due to the dedication required to become that good at what you do. That is the point of stereotypes fool. Take some small, usually culturally complex and a bit hard for outsiders to understand, issue and spin it as "they all..." Quit being a fool and "defending" something that is perfectly fine and normal.

Nobody said how common it is or isn't. The FACT is that it is consumed. Also, you have no idea how common eating dog is as you haven't been to every corner of PI and people don't fill out forms about how often they eat dog.

I have traveled extensively in Asia and they just don't have the same ignorant hang ups Westerners do about where they get their protein. Westerners didn't either until they started crap factory farming. So a country dog raised to eat in PI is probably more wholesome than these feed lot processed cows in the States.

Food is food and if I hit a place where a dog was BBQ'd? I would eat it. If a person is stupid enough to judge a culture on what they consume it speaks more to them than the culture they are judging.

Eat what you like. Westerners had no problem picking their continents clean of every animal. Now that they have factory farms creating crappy tasteless meat want to judge? Forget that.
