    Yeah they do mate. If u drain yourself to make weight, u weaken your body and thus can't take a punch as well.

    Not sure what this has to do with Mayweather's urge tho.

    That being said, I think all this bull**** is just Floyd's way of beginning to hype the fight for next year...

    It's pretty effective promo too,,, even if Maynever makes himself look like a total jackass in the process... (nothing new for him I suppose)

    so wait... your saying that if you move up in wieght you should be able to handle those guys power better than you did at the lower wieght class? who has ever done that? i cant recall anyone... but i may be wrong.

    "the urge" pretty much means he wants to wait til next year to stay out of that higher tax brackett. his name is money mayweather so he thinks about that stuff. kinda like Arum does, which is y pacroid keeps fighting Arums fighter so that he can make Arum more money. i hate to break it to yall but boxing is a business first.

    if manny wants to fight floyd so bad y does he keep making other fights? wasnt it manny who stopped negotiations and fought clottey? now hes doing it with margarito... im noticing a trend here
