I think his chins a little soft, not glass but he always has me worried hes guna walk onto something meaty. Hes only lost once but ive seen him down and ive seen him wobbled enough to worry. I do understand it happens in these bigger weights but i think hes suseptable.

But then i also reckon hes been finding it so hard at Cruiser for a few years and being weight drained for fights does leave you weak, especially with punch resistance. This move up could of done him a world of good like i reckon it could of for Amir Khan who always was too big a Lightweight. And ive seen Haye take a few solid shots off Barrett and Ruiz and hes coped fine.

I don't really see Haye's chin as the problem. Even if his chin was better the amount of punches he takes from B level HW competitors is far too big. Haye relies on his reflexes and time and time again guys with crappy hand speed like Ruiz were able to hit him when they should not have landing anything at all -- if Haye's reflexes were as good as he thinks they are.

If Haye had defensive skills and awkwardness to compensate for his average or below average chin then it would be a different story. Look at Wlad. Wlad's chin is as suspect as Haye's but Wlad perfected his defense to compensate for that.

Dude is a cruiser fighting at HW. He gets rocked occasionally. Deal with it.

Its a clear example of you just looking as resumes with no context whatsoever. You cannot compare Holyfield and Haye.

As for his ''glass chin''. I do feel its a tad unfair. He has been knocked down a few too many times though. His chin clearly isnt good. Average at best. He also suffered a bad KO during his amateur days. So im guessing it starts from back then.

Between Khan and Haye, I don't know which chin is worse.

Both are bound to be obliterated by solid competition.

He gassed against Thompson and Solis.

Mormeck he got he slipped on ring apron and then got caught with a big punch but came back well... although I still thought his legs looked a bit shakey.

Mock caught him with a good shot and yeah this is the main one I would look at as Barrett for me wasn't a real clean knock down.

I don't think he has a bad chin, just not the best. Also I really think if you look at Haye now he has a much bigger neck and head from a couple of years ago and I think this may help. Also he has built his legs up a bit.

only been stopped once as a pro and he was not KO'ed, he gassed and was not defending himself and taking big hits.

he is not a total glass jaw, but it ain't exactly iron.

But I will add that he does not seem to have as much of a problem with HW power as Adamek.

Rubbish chin is a bad choice of words... It has flaws but he is learning to work around them like decent champions do, (Lewis had some chin issues ) but beat and never avoided many of all of his opponents available during his reign.. Haye has been KO'd previously by championship athletes, Mormeck.. Thompson and fair puncher Mock.. In the amateurs Olandier Solis Fonte stopped him.. But he is currently the WBA champion and you cant often reach those dizzy heights with a "Rubbish" chin... his chin is the sole real ***** in the armour but he is still holding the cards , so we have to give him the benefit of the doubt until someone rattles his cage again.. {He needs to fire up and box more} that is for sure, {He has to stop talking and prove some of his worth} More activity and less bravado..........

His chin is suspected, but isnt rubbish. As someone said in that thread, Haye protects it and fights cautious.
