Oh, I agree. Just saying Hatton didn't have the universal regard those guys did. Wasn't attempting to downplay Hatton.

Question...How many boxers can you name who have beaten an ATG in their prime?

They are ATG's for a reason, and prime...well you get the point.

Not defending Mayweather because I believe he could have chosen tougher challenges since moving up to 147lbs...but aside from Pacquiao (whether you believe he is prime or not), name me the ATG boxers in and around 147lbs who are prime?

:patsch ****...reading comp is new to you isn't it? I said Hatton didn't have the universal acclaim those other guys had. And he didn't.

mosley 5 or 10 years ago wouldn't have been atg but as close as it gets. i know, he had a tooth ache but still...

Yep. People love to forget how highly regarded Hatton was at the time. Hatton was a tremendous fighter and Floyd did what no one ever did to him.

Yeah Mosley 5 or so years ago would have been a lot more competitive after the second round.
Would have loved to see Mayweather v Tszyu...

You're flat out trying to downplay what a threat Hatton was and how highly regarded he was at the time of the Floyd fight.

Exactly. People love to call Floyd a ducker and forget that he's taken on the guy the public wanted him to fight time after time again... and make no mistake, he WILL fight Pacquiao.

in answer to the thread question: no. PBF maybe a total twat, but anyone who knows boxing can see he is one of the very best.
