Secondly, Lopez wouldn't provide much problems for Pavlik which is why he is a perfect comeback fight. He has very little upper body movement and his lateral movement is almost non existant (which was the key to Martinez's victory over Pavlik). The one attribute that does stand out is his heart but that can only carry you so far.

I agree Lopez deserves a shot, he's done things the hard way. I've nothing against him, just don't think he has any exceptional qualities and when he fights top guys he will be beaten again. He's the classic nearly man. I can see why you have a soft spot for him.
