:yep 1pt extra to total. If he wins on points it's 6pts and if it's a ko it's 6pts. So basically 7pts.

I've basically put the them type titles in line with commonwealth title. Ie. Not greatest level but a titles a title so deserves a extra point.

 

What about an eliminator Steve, any bonus points for that?

Sorry Slip no extra points for eliminator although a good point...but if your guys fighting someone in top 10 of ratings at that weight he will win extra points and for a ko extra points etc. So in end it adds up..maybe if there's a bogus international strap online adds a extra point as well. So it does add up in the end mate.

Hey, if you get rewarded for the Japanese title then i think you should get a little something for a BC eliminator. lol Shouldn't the level of competition be taken into account?

Yeah it's true but then i'd be changing rules to suit each fight etc, I just wanted set rules. Boxing's hard work nowadays. Some fighters fight hard fights for lesser titles etc. So just wanted to keep it simple.

Every other fight is an "eliminator" if you believe the promoters. I guess the "more rounds, more points" system will broadly reward fighters stepping up in class.

Yeah it will add back up mate especially if your guy wins and wins in style. Depends on who he's fighting as well. :good

 

What's the points situation for the IBO title? I know its not a real world title but Mares is fighting darchinyan so he should get some credit if he wins i reckon
