Yup, terrific mental maths from you too.

Khan has never earned more than £1.2 ($1.8m) for a fight and even that is being way optimistic.

Or you could say, Maidana looked like Garbage in his last fight, and doesn't feel he would beat Khan, as he was troubled so much by Corley. Giving himself a get out clause by asking for big benjamins?

Didn't you see him beat up Paulie? That means he has P4P skills on ESB.

I believe if this was a scenario with a different fighter in the place of khan the split should be 60/40. But considering Khan is a decent draw it should be around 70/30.

Either way Maidana should be getting around £850,000.

350k to Maidana on a 5/95 split would mean Khan would be getting paid over £33 million. :rofl

As part of Khan's GBP contract he gets a guaranteed 1.25million dollars for each of his 3 fight deal, you can find the source and quotes if you go look at the news from prior to the Mallignaggi fight.

Mallignaggi got 750k in the end

Khan is getting knocked out by Maidana if they fight that's why he wants to avoid it for as long as possible.

Anyone who thinks Khan is afraid of Maidana doesn't know the first thing about boxers

The only people who've ever kept Khan away from punchers are his management team and promoters. To them it was a risk due to his chin and they've steered him onto more financially beneficial and less risky fights, wheras for Khan himself, deluded or not, he does not think he has an issue fighting hard hitters and considers Maidana a poor boxer that he will look great against.

Wanna make a bet?, this fight is happening December 11th. Maidana has been asking a long time for this fight, if Team Khan refuse his financial demands he'll reduce them. This is 100% going to happen

A 95/5 split with Maidana receiving 5% as $350,000 would leave Khan earning $6,650,000(95%). Now obviously a total pool of $7 million is more than this fight will generate and considering HBO have said they'll put up about $1.7 million(if in the UK at primetime US time) or $2 million in the US , then the overall pool would be about 1/3 of that. With British tv money, advertising and ticket sales being used to fund the undercard, promote the fight and create profit for the promoter.

However that aside, how the hell have two different people assumed that if 350,000=5% then 95%=over £30 million. Someone better be dyslexic..........
