David Haye is playing a long game

He knows he cannot currently beat a Klitschko

But he is waiting for one of them to slip

He really isn't. David Haye loves fighting and is not scared of either of the K brothers.

I think Bunce should get Losfer on his show on one line fighting the fans corner based on what he said and Hearn on another line bashing the keyboard warriors (copyright Enzo Mac)

Risk and reward have always been the main factor in who faces each other. Its nothing personal. Its just business. There are posters who have an do not appreciate that side of the sport. They have every right to voice their opinions regardless of how unrealistic their expectations are however.

    Exactly.

Haye can fight Audley - easy fight for him on paper at least - a easy £2 million.

    Gets the KO win.

WBA Champ gravy train keeps moving - another 8 months out of the ring - promoting himself as the heavyweight champion - making money - make more excuses to duck Wlad - and then lining up another bum - for another easy £2 million.

Why fight Wlad Klitschko ? - for maybe £3 million - get beaten up and stopped and lose his title and earning ability outside of the ring.

So Haye is just the same as any other boxer / businessman.

I know that was my point in using it. I've always liked Enzo Mac but I found that to be an ignorant remark who from a guy, when he said it, had just been smashed by Haye.

^^^Some great posts, fellas. The Haye-Harrison fight isn't the crux of my point, though.

As I said before, Hearn wasn't the main reason for this thread (generally he comes across as an affable fella), but it's the general attitude you hear towards all of us 'keyboard' fans. As another example, remember Dean Powell's comments last year? Do you ever hear anything like it from any other sport as consistently as the boxing fanbase gets it?

Honestly, you have to marvel at it. No wonder the sport is struggling when you have the men in suits trying their best to kill off the real fans. Come on, Shaun, don't you think forums such as this are keeping the business alive when no-one else seems to give a hoot?

Enzo may not have been able to turn his career around if it wasn't for his determination to prove the keyboard warriors wrong!

How the frig do you know my name??? I always knew you liked me.

Mate, I thought your post was spot on. Like any sport the competitors would not reach the heights they do expected or unexpected if they did not have fans on places like this. I love ESB and it's the only forum I regularly use coz the guys on here are knoweldgable.

The haters of forums need to be careful too coz boxing is in a tricky period at the moment and the last thing it needs is the hardcore element, the dedicated fans who watch Valuev v Holyfield in Russian walking away.

It's understandable why the forums are viewed negatively in the industry. Even regular posters have enough trouble filtering through all the **** and finding the good posts, unfortunately the posts that stand out for occasional forum visitor is likely to be the insulting and disrespectful garbage that is posted.

Those keyboard warriors were the ones that were watching his last fight through some crappy Russian internet broadcast! if it wasn't for us no-one would have watched his last fight!

I'm no stalker, I just remember you posting your name before:lol:.

What gets me is that apart from one poster who continually takes the **** with the same old routine, I'd say Enzo Mac was one of the most liked British fighters currently active. Pretty much everyone wants him to do well and I don't know where he got the impression that everyone who posts online dislikes him. That said, I can't speak for the other boxing forums.
