Does Pacquiao have the punching power....

I believe MP has the power to do it. He can ko AM if the circumstances are right. If, and it's a big if, AM does exactly what Hatton did and MP launches that same punch (full force behind it), he will knock out AM. I don't think this scenario will happen but anything is possible.

 

Yes....Not one punch...but sometime in the 9th Tony will be overwhelmed with sharp stinging punches and Tony dont have the reflexes nor the smarts to block em with anything other than his chin...we know how that goes..

on the other hand tony probably gonna come forward in a straight line like usual, while crossing his feet constantly, and instead of trying to move his head out the way, he'll just "catch" the punch..not with his glove though...with his chin...and eventually the truth gonna get em

Manny has the 1 punch power to clean KO anyone at 147, I'm not sure about 154, but at 151 I think Manny can knock Margarito clean out, but he wont...

What I mean is, if Margarito was to stand still and ask Manny to give him best shot, he'd get knocked out.

The most likely outcome of this fight is a TKO for Pacman. Marg will eat flush shots all night, and the ref will quite literally be forced to stop the fight for the sake of Marg.

 

Kill the body and the head will fall. This is what will happen to margo when they fight.

I don't know what fight you were watching. Jmm was never close to being stopped. Even in the first fight he had his legs underneath him.

 

tony dont really have a lot of power..he is also a guy that overwhelmes you with punches....i think pac is in the same league...tony might be a little more powerful cuz he packing more weight on fight night...but manny's handspeed makes up for a lot of that..his hands are way faster than tony's...

Pacquiao does'nt have the mass power or strenghth to drive Margarito back like Mosley had.

I dont believe Pacquiao can knockout Margarito.
I believe Pacquiao can win easily but he'd have to do it by fighting the way he did against DLH early on, in and out and side to side.

Later in the fight against DLH, Pacquiao turned up the juice but only because DLH was completely fighting lifeless.
There was'nt any return fire to worry about and so Pacquiao easily had the choice to just turn it up and tee off on him.
DLH was lifeless and had a history and burning out late in a fight anyways, and this just is'nt going to be the case with Margarito.

For Pacquiao to win, he's going to have to be fast of both hand and feet but take something off of his power output in order not to get involved in a give and take with Margarito.
If Pacquiao goes the route that served him well against Cotto, you can quote me on this, Pacquiao is going to get brutalized and end up looking like Miguel Cotto did against Margarito.

Pacquiao is not going to win a trading war with Margarito.
Margarito is much bigger and unlike many of Pacquiao's opponents of late, this is Margarito's nature and game.

Pacquiao may very well get stopped, but Margarito imo is not.

For this one, Pacquiao will have to fight a somewhat safety concious type fight......can anyone say Floyd Mayweather Jr.???
