    Round 1

Despite some innovative through-the-ropes camerawork, it is discernible that Sturm has the sharper jab, and Lorenzo the busier. Sturm blocks three to five jabs to throw one. Lorenzo ducks down and tries an overhand right but nothing doing. Lorenzo throwing in combination now but not getting through. Sturm walks forward and jabs out of his guard. Lorenzo meets him head on with a right hand to the body. More rights loop around the left forearm of Sturm. The Sturm jab begins to land as he throws them a bit closer together. Lorenzo lands an uppercut to the body.

Lorenzo 10-9 on activity and landed a few more power shots than Sturm did jabs.

Need Sturm to win a decision, considering it's in Germany he just needs to avoid getting KTFO

    Runde 2

Lorenzo runs out to meet Sturm but then fakes him out and moves laterally, pawing at him. Sturm thrusts out his jab but doesn't open up with anything. Finally a right cross from Sturm. Lorenzo tries a 1-2 but stumbles off balance. Lorenzo keeps Sturm's eyes on a right hand that strays off course but is a diversion from a hard Lorenzo hook to the body. Lorenzo really looking to soften up that right side of Sturm, just beneath the ribs. Sturm begins to land the counter cross as they war with the jab (Lorenzo's still the busier and Sturm's still the better thrown). Looping right hand catches Sturm on the ear and forces him to clench his guard up tight while Lorenzo tries to follow up. Lorenzo throws a hook/uppercut hybrid and follows with a textbook left hook upstairs, both only glancing. Sturm begins to walk Lorenzo into a corner, blocking as Lorenzo fights moving backwads. Not a lot of leather lands.

This round was even closer than the first, definitely better work by Sturm, but Lorenzo got it on my card by a slight, slight edge.

Only seen like half of round 2 but Sturm looks rusty to me.

Zaveck won an UD btw. and he really earned it, dominating Jackiewicz throughout.

Meaning, he must be responding to whatever treatment he's doing. Doesn't look like he's on chemo, so he's probably not as ill as originally thought.

Very close rd. Lorenzo had the good bodywork again. He is doing the right thing, stick to the body and come up with the uppercuts. Sturm landed some shots, mostly jabs and maybe 1 right hand. Sturm being the ring general though.

    Round 3

Lorenzo keeps his jab on autopilot while trying to land overhand rights behind it. Sturm stays squared up on him, blocking most of Lorenzo's shots with ease and looking to respond. A nice counter hooking jab by Sturm! Lorenzo getting bullied a little now. Lorenzo throws curveball lefts and right uppercuts but Sturm is slipping him as he bores in and looks to drop jabs on the Dominican's face. Sturm with a nice lead right hand! Good 3-2 from Sturm at the bell.

    10-9 Sturm

    29-28 Lorenzo
