From a conference call earlier this week:

"I see a knockout in five or six rounds, and that's stretching it,"

"Sam Peter's never been completely knocked out. He just quit on himself. I don't think that he's ever been really knocked out. But Wladimir has the power to knock out anyone with either hand. So in this fight with Peter, the way that the emotions are building, he will unleash his missles earlier than normal," said Steward of Klitschko, who is coming off of March's 12-round knockout of Philadelphia's Eddie Chambers.

"And when Wladimir does that, people get knocked out. That's why I was pushing him with Eddie Chambers. I think that he will unleash his missiles against Samuel Peter," said Steward. "Based on Wladimir's state of mind and the way that he's training for this fight, he will punch harder sooner. It will be the first time that Peter gets completely knocked out. I think that he'll knock him out. And I think that it will be because of the left hook more so than the right hand."

Yeah, alright Steward. You train up Wladamir to storm on Peter, and see what happens. If he comes in to that fight trying to get the knockout in the first 6 there's more of a chance Peter will rock his ****. He should do what he normally does.

Is the missile an absurdy unfair 50/50 contract to the greatest HW is british boxing history?

Yeah, i'm sure he'll throw as many of those as he can.

Once wlad gets off his high horse and offers Haye a 'master' contract, we might see the fight.

I agree 100% with this. If Wlad thinks he is gonna bomb out peter without just breaking him down that plays into Sam peter's favor tremendously.

We know peter can be broken down like vitali did, thats' the blueprint. Wlad should stick with it.

Regardless of wha happens, it will be Peter's best chance.

The safer approach by Wlad will give Peter little chance to win.

    Why?

Why choose Peter of all opponents to start throwing earlier?

Peter, a guy whos only shot is if Wlad fights out of character? This is when they will choose to be aggresive?

Not quite sure i understand the logic there.

Isn't it kind of weird how Wlad has turned into a more defensive fighter under Steward's tutelage, and yet Emanuel frequently mentions how Wlad is going to destroy so-and-so in 3 rounds?

Bull****. I'll believe when I see it. In fact I think peters already had a good chance of victory now this new strategy, if it is implemented, gives him a better chance. Don't get me wrong. I think vlad wins behind the jab forcing Sam to quit in the later rounds. But wvlad was dropped three times by Peter. You don't forget **** like that. Perhaps in avoiding the big shot he slips up make a mistake. But if he opens up he invites the big bombs. Peter may not be hof material but he can pop.

I, for one, am interested to see if Peter can regain his old form like he's been saying. He has the power to hurt Wladimir obviously and if he really is going to get away from his jab jab jab safety first routine, he's gonna be open for those vicious counters.

Put it this way: If Stewart is right then we're in for an exciting fight....If we get the same old boring Wlad, he'll probably stink it out and win a wide points decision.
