    Sturm retains by UD.

What did Buffer say the scores were?

Six and seven round margins. Yikes.

Sturm will get KO'd by most legit MWs, no doubt about it. He is a poor performer with no killer instinct. Weak fight against a really weak opponent and he couldn't seal the deal in a definitive manner.

It was a good performance, but he should step his game up and do more.

Anyone who thinks this was an underwhelming performance by Sturm hasn't seen much of him.

He shows you some really good stuff and then he squirrels it away and rides it out, content to coast.

Felix needs to step up to the top fighters and show what he really can do. Pavlik, Martinez, Pirog, Golovkin, would all be interesting.

Pretty wide UD there, considering how little sturm did in many of the late rds. Sturm won it in the mid rds though on his very solid defense and left jabs.

Wish he had more variety and went for it a little more.

I don't know why but i think Sturm vs Dzin would be a very interesting fight. If it happens my money is on Dzin cause he throws more and his jab is a bit better.

Of those guys listed I think he actually stands a good chance vs Pirog. Pirog is not a super busy fighter and sturm has a solid defense. I could see him giving Pirog all kinds of problems and beating him on decision.

I think Martinez and Pwill spank Sturm though. One for accurate hard straight punched and Pwill would just outwork sturm most every rd.

I like Sturm but Golovkin would destroy him. Didnt he refuse an offer against Abraham twice?

People like to knock the super-technical style, but it's honestly more effective against an awkward guy like Pirog than the cavalier American style with the low left hand (with Danny Jacobs plainly demonstrating its shortcomings).

Stylistically I'd also favor Sturm over Jacobs, and maybe Guerrero. Golovkin could find a way to hurt him with that patient power-boxing, and N'Dam N'Jikam could just beat him on volume.

I think Sturm is just one of those guys who fights down to the level of his opponents. It maybe that surprises us against the fighters you guys mention.

Lorenzo only won 1, 2 and 12 on my card with not a great drama to award the 2nd to Sturm too.. so i fully agree to the official cards. I dont know how anyone could have seen a close fight here.. :think
