What a ****ing ******! Shane was already set to fight Berto when Pac signed for Clottey. It was with Floyd he had a failed negotiations with! atsch

 

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. I love mosley, but just as floyd's style poses numerous problems for mosley, margos style was taylor made for mosley. Was a little troubling to see him huffing after the 2nd against floyd. Mosley's likely rounding the corner; however, I tend to agree with majority consensus that Mosley has enough left and possess the power, strength, chin, and speed to possibly KO pac.

Pacquiao Vs Mosely = brain damage for both fighters, but Manny gets KTFO by Shane. Those two big right hands in the 2nd against Floyd wouldve have either finished Pacquiao or been the beginning of the end had it been his none blocking ass.

 

Roach is already on record stating that Mosley is too dangerous for Pacquiao. I agree with him.

 

I dont care what anybodies says. I would love to see these two fight. If he hits pac, its gonna be over. My problem with shane is, i dont feel his movement is good enough to avoid pacs punches. that, i feel would cause pac to win. I would be going for shane, simply because him winning would just keep boxing a lot more exciting.

Roach also said before that he does not want a Margarito vs Pacquiao fight at 147. On Mosley, when Roach told that, it was what 2 years ago (I already forgotten). Pacquiao was not yet a proven welter weight during that time as his only fight is against Oscar. Also Roach mentioned before that the Oscar fight is the only 147 fight he wants for Pacquiao and he wants him to move down again after the fight, but then Pacquiao proved that he carries his speed and power well at a higher weight, he also improved his skill, so the rest is history.

Pacquiao UD the grandpa shot Mosley. Or tko him (the referee might stop the fight due to accumulation of punches).

 

I concur...Those shots that floyd took i think would have put manny down unless his balance would have improved by then. I hope it happens. If ssm wouldnt have it floyd like that in rd 2, roach would allow pac to fight him now that floyd beat him.

You're right, that's not happening at 147lbs. Now that Rockgloves is comfortable at 154lbs, he's being pulled down to 151lbs.

 

Roach only said that **** about Mosley to be nice.

Whats he going to say

"Sorry Shane but we make more money fighting Cotto than we do with you and you were already offered the fight for 142lbs but rejected it now all of a sudden you can make 140lbs?"

Floyd needs to fight Cotto more than Pac needs to fight Mosley.

I'm sure they could be tempted after the way Mosley looked against Mayweather, shame they ducked him when he was #1WW after he gave Margarito a beat down.

i love this fight, but manny and freddie roach didn't want it when shane was begging for it and willing to drop down in weight and put his title on the line.

yes he was anniliated by floyd, but styles make fights and stylistically this has the makings of a closer, more explosive fight. This is the fight manny should have taken.

instead he's fighting a guy who shane destroyed. a guy who beat the cotto who manny destroyed.

i think the selling point is the height and reach difference as well as margarito's punch resistance and the chance for manny to win a dubious title in another division.
