Ricky Burns has made me cry

There is only one Ricky...































Burns.

 

The funny thing is Ricky could've made that easier on himself. He couldn't miss Martinez with the jab and walking him into the uppercut, but didn't throw them enough. He actually fought the wrong fight in spots IMO and gave Martinez the only chance he had with no chin tucking, but what a night for the lad.

 

Absolutely brilliant performance.

I can't remember the last time I was jumping up and down and shouting at the tv so much. Superb. Absolutely superb.

That's got to be one of the best performances from a British boxer in a world title fight for a long time.

I can't give Ricky Burns enough credit.

 

4th September is now officially the new Burns Night!

Delighted for him, honestly didn't think he would do it. Delighted to be wrong, you could see the pride in Jim Watt. Scotland have a hell of a champ, fair play :good

Nearly made me cry too. Edge of the seat stuff, brilliant performance by a great guy. What a determined guy.

 

im an english man living in wales and i wish i was living in scotland tonight, that was an awesome performance! reminded me of calzaghe vs jeff lacy without the odd worrying moment but ricky burns was first class tonight!
