Bowe would have knocked out the 2003 version of Lennox Lewis. Hell, I have doubts if the 1993 Lennox would have beaten Bowe. I also favor Bowe over Byrd everytime, by wide decision.

Kirk Johnson, Sam Peter, Corrie Sanders, Chris Arreola, Juan Carlos Gomez all lose to bowe. You have to remember many of these men showed up disgustingly overweight(Johnson) and some just plain out of shape (Sanders, Peter, Gomez). Vitali had two chances to beat two elite heavyweights of the division. He failed both times. Bowe had his same oppertunities with holyfield. Bowe rose to the occasion.

    I say Bowe retires undefeated

Again you just use the Bowe from the Holyfield fight - After Bowe fought Holyfield it was him that was disgustingly out of shape and totally unfocussed - Peak Bowe may of beat 2003 Lewis but a the Bowe which fought Golota, Hide Holy 3 etc would have been KO'd

-Uh, the fight had already been called when they started covering the cut. They were already informing Lewis he won on the otherside of the ring.

-You can hate the man and his fans all you want but he didn't quit. Vitali says the doctor called the fight. The doctor himself said he called the fight. I guess you know better than they do. Let me guess, after the coward fought blind against an all time great puncher for 3 rounds he paid the doctor to lie to everyone? Get the **** out.

Before the start of round seven the doctor advised that the fight should be stopped due to a severe cut above Klitschko's left eye, awarding Lewis victory by TKO.
Interviewed about the fight by HBO, doctor Paul Wallace explained his decision: "When he raised his head up, his upper eyelid covered his field of vision. At that point I had no other option but to stop the fight. If he had to move his head to see me, there was no way he could defend his way against a punch

With that bull**** out of the way:

Bowe peaked at 25 with his first Championship win and physically fell apart from poor training habits and a tendancy to take flush punishment; Vitali didn't enter the Ring rankings until he was like 32 when he fought Lewis. Two very different careers. At 24, Bowe was entering the World Title scene against Holyfield while Vitali was having his first professional fight as a boxer. By 30 Bowe would be retired and Vitali would still be two years away from his first title shot. Ultimately, similiar resumes with Bowe's great win over Holyfield being the only deal breaker.

Thats the thing about Bowe - he was never gonna have a great career cos he got hit so much and his resume is very flattering to the ability of his consistance

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Peter isn't in any way comparable to Golota, either styles or skill levels.

One has an excellent jab and a good range of punches, the other is just a fat slugger with a shaky chin.

I'd be willing to bet I've studied sport's injuries to a higher level than Vitali :deal Once you have a rotator injury it is quite often a continual problem whether or not you quit with 2 rounds to go :deal

What's your take on Vitali having butterfly stictches on his cut before the doctor stepped in, why do you always run from this question. Butterfly stitches = corner stoppage - do they not?

I've done took you task on this bull****..why are you ****ing running from me?

-In the HBO Broadcast, they cut to a preview after Round 6 only to return to the deicision being announced and Lewis raising his arm.

-In the German broadcast they show the entire scene:

The doctor(black guy in the red vest, and glasses is already in the corner at 4:54) He's looking at Vitali's cut and walks away to announce the decision. The crowd reacts as they start to bandage Vitali. We cut to Lewis with his arm raised.

Every credible source says Dr. Paul Wallace stopped the fight, including the man himself. Now will you man up, or run away?

I was impressed with Riddick Bowe in the amateurs. I remember him as a 6"5 light heavyweight and win the NY golden gloves, he a bit more of a vigorous fighter. He was a decent pro, although he got hit too much and he just started getting fatter and fatter and lazier. I think he would have been beaten by Lewis and he did not even give himself the chance to fight Lewis because he knew this. I think Bowe would get beaten if he filled into all of Vitalis defenses and may lose to Areola or Gomez or Peter, lets face it Golota beat himself in both their fights. Bowe did not have the work ethic
