Now I know Wlad fans may get a coronary heart failure for misunderstanding what I am saying so let me make it perfectly clear that Wlad is way the better fighter and has achived way more than big Audley.

I think the Haye v Audley fight may actually be the best warm up fight that Haye can get for taking on Wlad. Think about it, both have similar fighting styles, tall, rangy, cautious behind a strong jab. Both have fight ending power but fight scared. I think Harrison is the ideal opponent for Haye, and I think if he puts a beat down on Audley, will feel confident enough to make that fight with Wlad. If Haye's style proves effective against Audley, there is no reason why it can't against Wlad. That doesn't translate in to a victory against Wlad, as you have to factor in lots of other factors too.

But I think Audley on the face of it, looks a silly match up, I think actually, from a style point of view, it's the best match up for Haye, aside from taking on Wlad.

    Your thoughts gentlemen?

Audley is a southpaw. Haye is not preparing for Wlad, he's running from him.

More like a left handed Michael Grant.

Harrison and Wlad are nothing alike.

Fraudley makes Wlad look like George Chuvalo. His chin isn't just china, it's Grade Triple A China.

The truth is there isnt a warmup fighter for any of the klits as nobody has their size and power along with the technique.

I do agree with the point you made that harrison will make haye more confident if dispatched of quickly. Especially because of his height, as he isnt far off klits.

This is also best money fight that haye could have taken outside of klits.

If he doesnt face one of them after harrison i will be disappointed

Sure AH is a poor mans version of Wlad (and Lennox too).

However all this fighting scared bs from internet "warriors" is beyond overdone. I don't know about you, but most in here (esp. younger fans) haven't been in a real fight in their entire lives - except in a video game :-(

It's basically illegal in current western culture for a boy to act like... a boy
Might at least partially explain why an increasing number of top fighters are from other cultures.

Some of you are missing the point. I am talking purely on style, and physical attributes. Take nothing away from Wlad he is the better FIGHTER and I said that in my opening post. Stylewise he is the closest you get I think, to Wlad. So in a sense, this fight makes sense IF and I say IF Haye manages to get a fight with Wlad at some point. Remember, he'e still growing in to the divison. Audley has a few skills, is a big natural heavy, I think he comes in over 240lbs and has a very decent jab. Audley has some technique, as a boxer he's got every shot. He's just not much of a fighter and doesn't do himself any favours in a fight, at times he does look scared to engage and wants to box at range. Come on, we know Wlad tries to eploy the same plan, he's just much better at wearing an opponent down and stepping it up.

    Harrison's a poor man's version of a poor-man's prime Michael Grant.

SNV was a better proxy than Audley. Audley does not fight like Wlad at all. Wlad uses the "jab and grab" to win. Audley uses the "If I don't throw anything maybe they won't hit me" tactic to lose. Also, Audley is a still a southpaw.

Audley and Wlad have *NOTHING*, absolutely nothing in common style wise. Zero.

It's quite shocking to see you ask the question in how far their styles are comparable. They aren't. Audley's and Wlad's styles couldn't be more different. I see absolutely zero similarities in neither footwork, jab, left hook, uppercut, right straight or hook nor stance.

Audley has no idea how to box tall, how to control distance using his footwork nor how to neutralize the offensive tools of his opponent. He boxes clueless, he boxes dumb, he's completely lost in the ring stylewize as he can't figure his opponents out. After 3-4 rounds of trying to box strategically Audley mentally folds and drifts to just trying to land one big hand and forgetting all about boxing.

It's like Audley is trying to do the same stuff Wlad is doing, just not as good. He's not doing *ANY* of the things Wlad is doing. And whatever Audley is doing, he's not doing it well.

C'mon Michael Grant is a slugger and has no jab to speak of!! Audley for a big man knows how to use his jab, he gets behind it and pops it to keep distance. Audley is closer to Wlad than Grant is to Audley!! now you're just verging on the ridiculous. :patsch
