I'd back Burns against every champion except Uchiyama, though Solis 'interim champ' would give him a real test, maybe even win.
ye but fana is not a paper champ, he is a titlist. he might not be the best in the division but he aint a paper champ.
but he won the belt off klassen and avenged his loss to baloyi. as for favouring burns against every sfw, if he can box like that every time, great. but if he fights like he did vs johanneson or o'hara then not so great.
He doesn't even have to box that well again. Tajbert or Fana are not as good as Martinez and I was never even 50% convinced about Martinez.
they might not be, but are they as good as johaneson or arthur? as good as o'hara? as i said f burns can consistently put on performances like that, i believe he is the best scottish fighter snce harrison. id like to him prove to be a class above domestic level with victories over sykes, cook and mitchell. if he can dominate them 3 then bring on the unifications say.
burns would beat sykes, have a tough one with cook which could go either way, but would get knocked out by mitchell if he decided to go back to super feather.
thats the thing with burns. at top domestic level he is 2-2 i believe he needs to prove he is a class above that level and fghts wth sykes, cook and mitchell would do that. if he can perform how he did vs martinez, he should beat them all, but lets not leave it to specualtion.
Hook, why do you think Uchiyama is so great? he beat JC Salgado... a nobody who happened to put Linares down in the first. so if a fighter youd never heard of come out and TKOd Uchiyama, you would instantly rank him the best in the division? Fana is not a paper champ, Id like to see him fight Burns
