how many people here have actually followed burns career? cos im sure those who have will have been shocked by his performance. the closest he ever came to looking that good previously was vs gomez, a very shopworn gomez.
What would be the point in that. I was so glad when I was proved right when the fight was over. The amount of people thinking Mitchell even had a chance against Katsidis was laughable. They see one or two of Katsidis fights, maybe not even that. Maybe they just watch some highlights and assume he has no ability. He is a good boxer and in his last few fights his defence has looked very good. I always knew and said Katsidis would basically destroy Mitchell one way or another. I dont even think Mitchell is a better boxer than Katsidis who is criminally underrated in that department.
cos thats what the best boxers do, they rematch those who beat them, or they atleast try to rematch them.
nah but kats aint the type of guy to shirk a challenge. im sure mitchell believes he can beat kats. once kats beats marquez he will be a double beltholder, wouldnt surprse me if mtchell becomes his mandatory at some point.
It would suprise me because Mitchell isn't even that good. I doubt he'll get too far. Katsidis wont shirk a challenge but he sure as hell wont fight Mitchell again for peanuts compared to what he can make in other fights if he wins.
well he beat prescott beter than vasquez did. he might not be that good, and he might not get that far, but he should stll push for a rematch. redemption is always good in boxing.
Probably wont even push for it because he knows he'll get seriously hurt never time against the ever improving Katsidis. :deal
it was a huge performance from burns hell on the mitchell katsidis undercard he struggled against a journeyman with not alot to offer i expected a quick and easy win for martinez instead my fight of the year so far and in defending my fave fighter in barrera i seen him take everything that khan had to offer who is 5'10 and big so im sure he can take punches from these super featherweights
