I'm halfway there, he is clearly basking in his Heavyweight Champ glory and trying to make the most of it. Great for him. ****ing **** for us fans.

    To OP
The way DH has been acting for over a year I don't see why anyone s/b disillusioned at this stage. In another thread on this topic one fan compared Audley's KO loss to Sprott to Wlad's losses even going back as far as Purrity :patsch Before Haye showed his true colors I thought he had an outside chance at catching Wlad (like Sanders) and winning. Of course this is just a money making exercise... and he hasn't gone after a live top ten contender b/c he doesn't believe in himself. Besides the lumbering Valuev, he's faught Barrett (decent journeyman) and Ruiz (way past it).

I'll cheer for AH, but it hardly matters.

Get real. One of the reasons Vitali has had those fights is due to the likes of Haye and other HWs who are too timid to get in the ring vs a HW pushing 40 ! :bart

DH is in his late 20s - at his peak, and he's waiting for the K bros to get old :-( Who are all these better contenders that Vitali is avoiding? It takes 2 to make a fight. At least HWs like Arreola, Peter, Sosnowski, and Briggs will fight. I believe Adamek - unlike Povetkin - will step up after he has 1 or 2 more wins. And how can you criticize Vitali for "soft fights" but almost praise Haye for taking on Harrison? Stating Tua & Barrett :dead are more worthy than Briggs & Sos shows how biased you are.

i was a big haye fan, but anyone who can defend him choosing to not fight the klitschko's probably love haye regardless.

i will go to the fight to cheer audley on.

i will hope haye beats any non-domestic opponent but thats just cos he's english. him as a person, he is a nob.

you dont go to all this effort begging for a fight just to turn it down.

People are taking things way too far. It's only ONE fight and I don't blame him at all for it after three tough fights in a row. Barrett, Valuev(in his backyard) and Ruiz. So Harrison next is reasonable in my opinion especially when everyone knows that the fight after it will surely be a better one. This is a British champion trying to bring a decent event for the British public by making this fight, I don't see anything wrong with it and I'll watch this fight. Whoever doesn't want to simply don't and boycott in your own personal world. If he had a chain of easy fights and took this one I would be in line with you guys and blame him for it, but that's not the case at all.

You're twisting words, or misunderstranding me- meaning is easily distorted when taken out of context; I never said Vitali avoided anyone why would he with his chin? I said that he takes 'easy' fights i.e. low risk fights for a comfortable payday - you cannot deny that Johnson, and Sosnowski are not easy paydays. And if you suggest that there are no more worthy contenders that are willing to fight VK - I find that really hard to believe!

First of all, Haye doesn't believe in himself? he has the biggest ego this side of the atlantic! also as for Valuev, Ruiz and Barrett; as you describe as lumbering, way past it and decent journeyman- surely they could be interpreted as the WBA champion, the 2 time WBA champion and mandatory challenger (i.e. no 1 contender - thus within top ten) and the heavyweights gatekeeper (who was knocked out)

The only problem with this statement is only fans from the UK even consider that paper thing he wears around his waist a "championship belt". Champ of what?? The line of heavies that got robbed against Valuev ( Who by the way wasn't even the Champ of that trinket) doing more than Haye did only He wasn't robbed?? I am sick of this FRAUD..............GO AUDLEY!!! I will laugh until I die if AH sparks him......it would be so fitting.:good

Good god..............He hasn't taken on a tough opponent at heavy yet!!!!! He needs a break from fighting pugs..........so he is going to fight a lesser pug?? Even Briggs would smash AH in one round..........and if Haye can;'t??? ugh:nono

I'm not trying to twist your words or take anything out of context. I'm just to used to how many posters act on ESB ;) I agree that Johnson & Sos were relatively easy defenses for VK. But he's a fighter in his late 30s, while DH is TEN years younger ! Aside from the massive Valuev, I don't think DH has faught a dangerous HW. If Harrison wasn't such a bust, he would be a bigger test for DH than Barrett or Ruiz.

DH has one hell of an ego !
Most fans considered Valuev to be the weakest of the title holders... Ruiz has been a survivor, but he is way past his best... and the same is true of Barrett. That's all I'm saying. If we disagree - then we disagree.

It wouldn't matter if he had not talked as if he was only going to fight the best. That is the problem, Audley is so far from the best it is crazy.

Haye is going back on his own words that people held him too. Therefore, he has to be acoountable for what he says especially the way he went about it.

I hope for his sake he really is not going to be fighting Audley.

And Tua is total **** now, Solis told him no Adamack already had a fight lined up, barrett are you ****in kidding me he has been a washed up has been since he was destroyed in 2 rounds by cliff ****ing couser what 3-4 years ago? Kevin Johnson was in the ring top ten for heavyweights when Vitaly fought him, Matter of fact i would take Sos over Barrett and tua right now:deal

Scar i have a lot of respect for you as a poster.. But seriously Barrett and Ruiz were washed up for years before Haye fought them... Even Valuev was busy needing a gift decision to holyfield a full year before he fought Haye. even then he managed to eke out a questionable win.

After all of Hayes bul**** he needs to be held accountable hell how many interviews could you post with haye saying the exact opposite of what he is doing, he has been yanking everybodys chains for 2+ years its time he manned up or got the **** out of the division.

  14. Hey dumbass, Haye fighting Audley is no different Vitali fighting Briggs or Sosnowski.
