    He sure does. :good

Too bad Golota wasnt able to relax more and just have fun when it came to boxing, he could have gone much further. Of course dancing and having your face punched are not really comparable.

    This is the truth.

I know a lot of you guys disagreed with me at the time, but I really thought the Mollo victory was the perfect opportunity for Golota to make a graceful exit.

It was clear his physical attributes were far from where he needed them to be in order to make another serious run.

Had he gone out then, it would have been a victory where he overcame adversity to beat a loud mouth local rival. It would have been a storybook ending to his roller coaster career, IMHO.

    Co-sign.

As Hoax said in reply to you here, nothing is what it once was.

With his bad reflexes, his inability to take a punch, and his absurdly slow overall speed, he could lose to anyone.

Golota faded hard and fast after 2004.

I'm just thankful as a fan that he had a little something left in his title fights with Byrd and Ruiz.

He may never have officially won a title, but those were two strong efforts from a man already well past and already no lo longer had use of his most important weapon (the jab).

To me, the Byrd and Ruiz fights were his redemption and the Mollo fight was his swan song.

And Bowe did a lot better than people give him credit for. Unfortunately he was shot after the punishment he took not just in that fight but both Golota fights.

That fight had everything except a satisfying conclusion.

Dramatic back and forth action, multiple knockdowns, devastating punches, good technical skills, and an intense crowd.

I still believe that was the most entertaining heavyweight fight I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them.
