This content is protected so the countdown is on for this one, and yet again barry is the underdog, and the bookies forecast that barry is 13/2 to take the euro title from mccloskey in his own patch, tells you even the wise old bookie thinks so too. The pressure is all on the champion, and all politics aside, this fight has been made and sanctioned, and its now down to barry to show us all that he did deserve the shot, the morrison camp has been through alot recently and bringing the title home to motherwell would mean alot to everyone involved at forgewood ABC. all the odds in the world are scrapped when the 1st bell sounds, ricky burns taught us all that the other night, may the best man win........ preferably barry ofcourse :good
If Barry can sink some of those trademark bodyshots in early, this could get interesting Now that hes over his blood disorder problem, Im hyped to see a Barry Morrison that wont tire quickly, cos if Baz can swarm McCloskey & keep the pressure up for a sustained period of time with that left hook to the guts landing, McCloskey is going to have a difficult nights work in front of him:deal
I agree Rob, McClosky really needs to kick on really this is the sort of fight for a Frankie Gavin a top quality prospect against a tough guy who has seen better days not a guy on the verge of a world title shot.
After what Morrison has beem through recently with the death of Archie Mckay I think Bazza is gonna put on the performance of his life. Whether that will be enough remains to be seen.
I'd like to see McCloskey win by stoppage, but like Irish boxers, I cant see any Scottish boxer giving up...could be a real war! Will sky sports be showing the undercard, as I want to see the Andy Murray fight, and I reckon it'll be RTE2.
