Agree 100% with the prediction, Amir Khan is the goods - he could be a p4p fighter in a couple of years unless his chin lets him down.
I'm sorry but I favor Maidana. He'll will be able to land and when he does it's sleepy time for Khan.
And you know Maidana could walk right into that 1 2 combo, it could be lights out for him in the first few rounds.
I've never seen anyone try to portray Khan as a defensive wizard, but the fact that his jab is so good, with a good right hand to potshot and 1-2, means that any slow, technically limited fighter is going to struggle. The jab will just keep Maidana off balance, prevent him from getting set for the big concussive shots. Khan will just jab and potshot him, and the ref will step in near the end because Khan will by that point have tired him out and will be landing at will. Khan Maidana is an interesting, competitive fight on the suface, but Maidana's technical limitations mean it's a far easier fight for Khan than it looks. Ortiz would be a far hader fight, because he's faster and more technically sound than Maidana, while still having a lot of power.
I can see this going the same as the Kotelnik fight with Khan almost running at times but still landing enough shots on the outside to nick the rounds ~ I think it could be a real dullfest ~ hope im wrong though ~ Khan by wide UD
Fair enough, but I disagree, I think he WILL get caught, and his chin WILL NOT hold up. I don't think he's good enough to not get caught in 12 rounds.
I like this kids video, he obviously knows his boxing, good to see. I think he could be over-rating Amir Khan a bit, hope he's right though. Khan is obviously very, very talented but like everyone i fear for the lads chin.
