this. even though he hasnt fought any world beaters but its hard to see any flaws that truly stands out in his style. great world class jab, fast heavy hands, and good ring IQ. the ideal boxer imo, he and korobov are two of my favorite eastern european prospects. golovkin is good but he's probably the most beatable of the prospects
Korobov? Nah - he's still fighting nothing competition. Going on his 12th pro fight and he's going to be fighting Anthony Greenidge?! If there's one reason to be happy with Pirog it's the fact that he makes Korobov and his level of competition just look pathetic. And this is middleweight - there's no shortage of decent opponents out there. Korobov is moving along waaaaaaaaay too slow. And he's fighting a level of competition that makes him look like a coward. If a top cuban pro were to come along and fight this regularly such a pathetic level of competition they would quickly fall out of the good graces of the fans.
maybe but for talent i think he could be the best. i know you cant tell looking at fighters against bad opposition but he's so dominant and impressive to watch you cant help thinking he's something spedial.
Biggest Prospects in order, imho Guillermo Rigondeaux David Lemieux Gary Russell Jr. Saul Alvarez Miguel Garcia Carlos Velasquez Fernando Guerrero
he still would be considered as a "professional" prospect, regardless of his age or amateur background
David Lemieux- http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=389447&cat=boxer Next great Middleweight , he will clear out the devision , he is charasmatic and could be a real boxing superstar. 23-0 , 22KOs and 18 KOs in the first 2 rounds. Real exiting to watch too.
It's difficult to keep up with all the prospects in every divison, but there are a few I really like. Lemiuex, Korobov at 160. Marcus "Too Much" Johnson at 168. However, in my opinion, one of the best prospects in the world is still an amatuer. Gunnar "The Big Gun" Thompson: 16 year old heavyweight that knocks fools the **** out with body shots!
