The idea that Margarito can no longer take a shot as well as he did before is baseless. It's speculative. He took outrageous amounts of punches before being stopped by Mosley. and even that was a Technical Knockout. Margarito never went down for the full 10 count...which was amazing in itself. I think this will prove to be a difficult assignment for the Filipino, and I fully intend to give Manny full credit if he pulls out the victory.

The idea that Margarito can no longer take the same shots he could before being stopped by Shane is possible given the circumstances, but to just assume that to be the case is nonsense. Plenty of tough fighters have managed to maintain their punch resistance after being stopped for the first time in their career. Examples have already been given.
Margarito is very dangerous fighter for anyone. Margarito did not train for Mosley, but he will be training extremely hard for Pac. Notice that Mosley had Void out on his feet in the 2nd round, but when he realized that Void was in serious trouble, he quit fighting! Something was fishy.
