^^^^^ This is generally true in the case of guys who have spent their careers taking punishment to give their own. Fighters like Margarito.
You mean like a Holyfield? ...Who has only ever been stopped once since losing by TKO to Riddick Bowe in the rubber match? :huh
I remember when Chuvalo got stopped by Frazier and Foreman...then everybody and his brother could put him on his ass. Edit: Okay, I'll stop.
Oh, I've put more thought into it than that. I've been riding the rollercoaster with Margarito for some time. He's been slowing down showing overt signs of ringwear for the last 3 to 4 years at minimum. If you can't see the career arc in this one I don't know what to tell ya.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl If you dont have any ideal about the fighters being mentioned in a particular post, dont respond, you're hanging yourself and basicallly exposing yourself to be a ******* that knows nothing about the sport thats not related to Pacquiao.:nut
If pac cant get through a slow slugger like margarito then his stock is going to plummet. fast. If this happens floyd should go straight for margarito at 154 and baldomir his ass for 12 rounds get back p4p number 1 and retire unless pac accepts a 60/40 split. If i was mayweather that what i would do, boxing is a business, 50/50 would be out of the question.
What overt signs are these? I remember him getting badly shaken up by Daniel Santos at 154lbs many years ago, only to then revert back to Welterweight and take murderous amounts of flush left hooks from Miguel Cotto and over-hand rights from Mosley. I find it to be a possibility that Margarito could come back from that defeat and still take a good shot. We'll see.
Holyfield and "type" (which is what we could have inserted into your first sentence) does not exist. I'm a supporter of the guy, but what he may and may not have done to his body over the years is a little but puzzling for me. I'll say that. Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds held up longer than they should have, if you follow me. We have a complex issue when it comes to Evander. Tyson I for example makes no sense whatsoever. I'll keep deluding myself in believing it was Jesus..
We should just let san rafael babble and hang himself. Everytime he posts he responds not having a clue if what the poster stated was true or not...... "Muhamad Ali had KO power in both hands!" .....san rafael response would be, "exactly."
Did you see Cintron II? How many Margarito fights have you seen overall? He's always been slow. At a certain point he became slooooooooow. Wearing down Cotto - as well as taking Cotto's "murderous" punches was an illusion to someone who's only read a few chapters. Oktay Urkal had zero trouble taking those "murderous" punches, but then again Oktay Urkal is reasonably durable, aside from most of the guys Arum handpicked.
I don't have a problem with anyone suggesting that perhaps Margarito isn't sporting the same level of punch resistance has he had before...but he seems to be unwilling to accept other possibilities. There is currently no evidence on show to prove his theory.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl This guy is clueless!:nut What the **** is he even trying to get across with this here post?:!:
Nah, Addie. You've been thoroughly owned in every post, and I'm being gracious. You're exposing yourself as an overheated argumentative internet forum poster who made the laymen mistake of misusing an infinitive term like "baseless," when there clearly was a basis. You lose, bud.
